Bats is a master o preperation. He would think about any single thing. Also a pretty good martial artist and he also messed with peeps who were in Beast's class before.

Beast is a Beast at prep too and he is stronger, faster and more nimble then Bruce.

I can't help but wonder what Beast would actually do with prep time for a battle. He often uses prep for plot (locating Cable in time, creating other devices, etc).

Regardless, I imagine that on paper, Beast should take it. But, when we take feats into account, this will be a stomp in Batman's favor. In spite of Beast's impressive physicals, he overall really hasn't done a thing to compete with skilled street levelers, and that's a damn shame.

bats loses. beast is also good with prep, both have plenty of resources. But in a h2h fight, Beast's physical superiority in every way gives him the win, Im gonna say that prep helps both, Beast 6/10. Bats has messed with metahumans before, but Beast is actually smart.

Hank by a little blue hair. I almost can't make up my mind... but 1 day of prep isn't a lot. They'll probably only come up with basic tactics, then this will come down to a melee fight where Beast should barely be able to overcome whatever Bruce brought for him.

@troller: That and ofcourse Las Vegas showgirls. He is defenceless against them.

I have to agree with k4tz as well. Beast prepping for snatching someone out of an alternate dimension, no problem. Prepping to defeat someone who is a brilliant strategist (and not just scientist) and equally brilliant martial artist? Not so much...lol.

Maybe a writer should put Beast in a spot like T'Challa in Hell's Kitchen, or force him to train h2h with Taskmaster or something for a bit, and evolve his skills that way?

Beast is a beast and he is one of the smartest men in the Marvel Universe.With prep and his strenght and agility he should take this battle.

This is actually a decent match up, Im going to go with bats though. Bats has feats to support beating someone like beast.

Beast lost to captain america ........... there are threads that have put cap and bats (with a specific suit) at a similar level... batman has superior prep feats to beast..... might as well just give bruce the nano suit from crysis....

Hasnt Beast loosed to Captain America? And from what i have seen Beast may be strong and fast but he isnt a very skilled h2h fighter. And you got one of the best martial artist from the DC universe. I think the winner is pretty clear bros

beast is smarter than bats in a lot of ways. But bats has him in tactics which includes battle. Beast far superior physically than bats. bats would have to bring in a lot of gadgets to take down beast which he could if he had the gear and he would if he knew who he was fighting. Id say overall bats is getting taken down. A day of prep isn't enough time for bats to take down beast

Beast in prep is bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Beast isn't a particularly good strategist or tactician. I think that Batman takes this.
