Batman wins. He defeated heavily armed Police Squad and there was 50 of them. Orcs are mindless mostly, so Bats should win.
There were no orcs at the Battle of Helms Deep.
Only Uruk Hai. Is that what you mean? Cuz it makes a huge difference if it's orcs, goblins, or Uruk Hai.

They are Orcs, but they are called differently.
If Batman is willing to kill (and I am assuming he is based on the OP) I think he takes it. Guerrilla tactics ftw.
@bigcimmerian: I know, but Uruks are much larger, faster, smarter, and more durable (can stand in daylight, plus better armor) than ordinary Orcs. It makes quite a difference depending on if it's Uruk Hai or ordinary Orcs.

Yes, you're right about that. What I wanted to say is that every Uruk is Orc, but not every Orc is Uruk :D
@bigcimmerian: That's surprisingly clever xD Lol.
@The_Deathstroker: my bad mates, I meant Uruk Hai

Went there.
@cstone18: Alright, thanks.
A uruk is a mix between goblin men and orcs. An orc is an elf twisted by ruinous powers. Batman gets cut to pieces.
@legacy6364: Went where?
Now I wish that was a custom mission in Arkham City. That might have been a fun combo pile up challenge. :p
@legacy6364: Went where?
Your statement is true.
I'd say Bats 5.5/10 because of the CQ in Arkham. He'd use stealth, knowledge of the setting, and his advantage in CQC for the slight majority.
@legacy6364: Gracias. @eisenfauste: Uruks are still Orcs, just much more advanced hybrids.
@The_Deathstroker: They aren't orcs.......a hybrid yes, but they can't be compared to inferior stunted versions such as orcs.
@eisenfauste: Tolkein made them a variant of orcs. Their name, in Black Speech, literally translates to Orc Folk.
I know they can't be compared because of how superior they are, but they are still Orcs.
@The_Deathstroker: I know they are a variant of orcs, but no one should compare them to orcs! At least not in the same sentece :P. I have red the Silmarillion twice, LOTR twice, Hobbit twice, watched all the movies several times, read Children of Hurin twice, your argument is invalid!!!!!!!
@eisenfauste: "I know they are a variant of orcs, but no one should compare them to orcs!"
I know!! That's why I said what I said in my first post! I don't like to think of them as orcs, but that's what they are.
To the rest of your post: But I agree with you! If my argument is invalid so is yours!
@The_Deathstroker: Well fine then! Everyone's argument anywhere at anytime is invalid also!
Man I'm awesome at derailing threads.......which isn't a good thing lol.
@The_Deathstroker: They aren't orcs.......a hybrid yes, but they can't be compared to inferior stunted versions such as orcs.
Tell that to wikipedia and Tolkien who said they are advanced orcs.
..... Wow.....
I just made serious comments in the Battle Forums....
This isn't good....

@The_Deathstroker: Begone young cur. Before someone throws the gauntlet and challenges you to a CAV.

This was never confirmed in canon, it was only speculated upon by the Elves.
@rogueshadow: A reference book I have confirms it IIRC. It was the elves of Eressea that believe they were once elves. Even their physical look resembles that of an elf, pointed ears, long hair, angular face etc. Here's a quote,
"Yet this is held true by the wise of Eressëa, that all those of the Quendi [Elves] who came into the hands of Melkor, ere Utumno was broken, were put there in prison, and by slow arts of cruelty were corrupted and enslaved; and thus did Melkor breed the hideous race of the Orcs in envy and mockery of the Elves ..."
-Silmarillion
@eisenfauste: You just confirmed what I said, the Elves speculated, they did not know this for a fact.
@rogueshadow: That was a quote from the silmarillion. I have a different quote from the reference book that states it clearly but I can't find it, and I don't feel like digging for it. Agree to disagree then.

I know it is... And I'm not disagreeing, it's probably true, since:
For the Orcs had life and multiplied after the manner of the Children of Ilúvatar; and naught that had life of its own, nor the semblance of life, could ever Melkor make.
So they were likely twisted creatures of some form or another, since Melkor can't create true life. Although it is quite possible, Orcs being creatures of pure hate and Villainy, that Melkor could in fact create them as they may not be considered true life, due to their purely hateful nature and seemingly having no purpose but to cause pain and misery, driven by the wills of Sauron, Melkor and Saruman, akin to how the Dwarves were driven by Aule until Eru gave them true life. Though Tolkien did later say he regretted making Orcs creatures of pure evil, so who knows?
