While the insider suit is highly overrated, Batman still beats the movie GR.
Batman Versus Ghostrider
@wyldsong: they failed to put him down, they did it once in the begining but later he stomped them.Batman won't do any better than them.
Comic Ghost Rider, I might have your back. Movie GR versus comic Batman with as much prep as he needs? Sorry, going to back Bats for this one.
Batman gets as much time as needed. That pretty much makes it a stomp.
Bruce will
A. Gather as much info as needed on GR (hey, there's unlimited time, right?)
B. Create as many gadgets/weapons needed to take out GR.
C. Recruit as many heroes/villains needed to take out GR (Bruce is a billionaire with some pretty powerful friends.)
D. Do anything else needed to take down GR.
E. Drink tea for as long as he wants until he's ready.
Or Bruce is too scared, he could just stall.... and stall..... and stall
However, if this is a random encounter, GR stomps without trying .
1). This is movie Ghost Rider.
2). This is comic Batman.
3). Comic Batman with a small amount of prep would be hard, even for a powerful comic character.
4). Comic Batman with as much prep as he needs could take down damn near anyone.
5). Comic Batman receiving as much prep as he needs against a movie version of ANY superhero is a stomp.
6). This should be locked.
7). Batman solos.
Jmarshmallow
even the movie version of gr was powerful as heck. what is batman going to do? bats gets killed easily since ghostrider does kill.
The OP states "Batman gets as much prep time as he needs".
This isn't a battle.
Batman gets an indefinite amount of time to come up with whatever PIS, deus ex machina, his fans can jizz up FTW. There is no battle here. Can Batman theoretically come up with something in, say, 25 years of researching and planning to beat the nerfed Ghost Rider from the horrible second movie? Sure. Why not.
Well, here's a wrinkle Bat-fans. There isn't enough prep time in Batman's mortal lifespan to prepare him to absolutely beat Ghost Rider. Bruce can't call for help in this fight (it's between him and Ghost Rider ONLY). Define the prep using examples from his continuity that didn't require intervention by others, and THEN you can give it Bruce. Otherwise, Bruce will die of old age before he figures out how he will over come the Penance stare.
Then he'll go to hell, like he deserves, and meet Ghost Rider face to face anyway. The End.
@hairy_octopus: well actually in a couple of 1990 comics ghost rider was injured by gun fire but only a lot of it. So I don't know. Ghost riders my favorite character. I say its a grueling match, Batman's suits damaged badly and ghost rider hurt. I say bats (it truly kills me to say this) but bats always finds a way to win. Close one tho.
I say Batman because batman isn't really evil so Ghost Rider powers aren't really gonna work to well. Plus if you give enough prep time to Batman he is also unstoppable.
Look, It dosn't work like that. Remember, Ghost Rider Penance Stare stared Dr. Strange
Bruce fanboys are a riot. GR easily, 10/10, any and all comic or film versions. Insider suit is overrated, but even if it worked as advertised, it is still based upon physical powers, and could do nothing against GRs mystical chain, which would shred the suit to pieces, and the man inside as well. But then, the fanboys had batman defeating Galactus in another battle. You guys have to stop, just stop. If someone does a Batman With Prep vs Godzilla I'm never coming back here.
