@wolverine08: Is Batman allowed to throw his sword down and just use bare hands? Because he'd most likely be more effective that way. Not that he's a bad swordsman, he'd probably get to at least Deathstroke or Gorgon if you duck tape the blade to his hands, but if he can ditch it he can totally clear.

But thats using his smarts and gadgets, most of these guys live by the sword.

What decent sword feats does Batman have? I have heard people try to claim be can best the likes of Blade and Dead pool with a sword.

Naw, I intended fior this to be strictly a sword fight testing Batman's skill with the blade.

Off the top of my head, he's crushed swordsmen like Ra's Al Ghul(Purported to have invented fencing himself). My man @comicstooge can expound in much better detail.

Wolverine is quoted as claiming that trying to match the Gorgon's skill is hopeless, or something to that effect. He's wailed on Elektra and threw Shang Chi off a cliff, in addition to nearly murdering Wolverine multiple times. Of course that is with major stat advantages, mind reading, and the best sword in the universe, but I'm pretty sure the implication is that he's a better fighter than them all too.

Mr. X is a character literally created for the purpose of schooling Wolverine. He's mastered every fighting style on Earth and then moved on to alien styles. He beats up bears for training and can read minds.

Silver Samurai is a worthless punk.

Shouldn't Green Arrow be the opponent of the first round and Wonder Woman on the secong and Snake Eyes on the third?Also why didn't you put Ra's?

But to share my opinion with this gauntlet - I think he will stop at Gorgon.

Silver Samuei is a purported Iajuitsu master, and he's trained Wolverine(One of the best sword suers in Marvel) in the use of a sword.

Though, Mister X also draws his combat efficiency from his nervous system/ mind reading ability which allows him to predict opponents movements.

Wonder Woman for all her hype doesn't really have the feats to put her skill above Green Arrow's. And Batman has already beaten Ra's al Ghul in a sword fight.

@wolverine08: And to share my opinion on the battle as well.I think Batman would get past the first three rounds with almost no big trouble but his round with Slade would helluva hard for him but he will get past that as well.THe real problem comes with Gorgon who has stalemated Logan and Elektra a few times and recently smacked around Shang CHi.I think that Batman would not only have some serious problem with Gorgon but eventually he will lose badly.

Wonder Woman needs to be higher, I dont think he is getting past her. She is much better trained in sword combat.

@tdk_1997: I would remind you that Gorgon's stat advantage and powers(Which he doesn't have here) do play a role in his fights. He's fast enough to blitz Wolverine before James' enhanced senses could pick up on him and was thoroughly out muscling in their final fight. Wolverine has better technical showings of skill than Tomi to boot. Don't get me wrong, Gorgon is very skilled, but I think Batman can take him.

She's been training with a sword specifically for nearly 3000 years and has shown on a number of occasions that she is more then a match for him, also while I haven't seen that particular scan for myself people on here often point to the fact that Batman himself has said that he might lose against her. If you look at some of the older threads about Batman vs WW Powerless most people seem to think that she would win, here's an example. Can Batman beat her? Possibly. But she should definetly be further down then the first round imho.

@wolverine08: Silly me,I didn't see that you have taken away his stat advantage.Then this battle's outcome is pretty much already answered.Slade and Tomi wouldn't be that much of a problem for Bruce.They will give one helluva battle but he can take them after he takes the upper hand.Silver Samurai and Taskmaster seem to be the problem here then.But I think he will be able to take them as well.

Deathstroke should be in the first round. The only reason why he's skilled in the first place is because of his stats.

Besides, the vests are made out Kevlar and other modern technological materials. The bracelets are little pieces of metal. The metal is really just used to accentuate WW's impressive durability and invulnerability.

While depowered he wouldn't be much of a threat to Batman.He is a good swordsman,fighter and everything only because of his stats and nothing beyond that.
