I prefer Batman as a character but I think in a random encounter Cap would take a majority over Bruce.

Batman is the better tactician and strategist but Cap has the greater strength and speed. Their both pretty even when it comes to combat but Batman takes this. In regards to who`s the better character I`m going with Batman but Cap comes close.
