Inspired by the Wolverine survives the torture chamber thread (I don´t remember the OP)

For some unknown reason Batman fins himself tied up in a chair inside a glass cell (pretty much like the Silence of the Lambs one) and he can see everything that happens in front of him.

Every round is 30 minutes long. If he don´t want to see he just says "I give up" and it will be over" and he´s going to be shot in his head and he´s pretty aware of that. He doesn´t know if it´s a dream, hes confused.

Is Batman mentally strong enough to watch this or he would rather being shot but not being sure if it´s a dream or something?

No Caption Provided

1. Tim Drake and Dick Grayson being "whatever Carnage would do" against Carnage

2. Talia being eated by Killer Croc

3. Alfred being beated to death by Bane

4. His son Damian being sliced by Victor Zsasz. (and whatever Zsasz could do)

5. His parents being tortured by the Joker. (and whatever Joker can imagine)

Clears.

Why?

Already been done in Death of the Family.

Also just got this now: if he says "Stop" does it mean the torture will stop? If so, stops at 1.

So basically he loses.

Sure if it saves Tim and Dick.

The closest I've seen Bruce giving up was against the Court of Owls but I don't believe Batman would give up against any of this, unless Damian is that sweet spot.. I know Alfred is but it would be horrid for anyone to watch this and walk out okay.

@hatemalingsia: He´s going to give his life in order to save them?

Fair enough for me.

@hatemalingsia: Also how was that "Death of the Family" thing?

Did Joker make Batman watch him killing someone close?

Didn't batman's clones commit suicide because they couldn't deal with the gruesome stuff this man has seen?

I think he stops at 4.

It's legacy. He won't tolerate his family being murdered. Nothing against Tim, Dick or Talia but they picked the life and knew the risks.

I think if it was his actual blood child being taken apart... Batman taps out.

30 Minutes its a lot IMO , you are a bad person.

Anyway I think he stops at round 5. As soon as he sees his parents with the Joker , he´s gonna quit.

IF it is a matter of his death saving innocent lives

THEN any rational and moral human would sacrifice themselves to prevent the death from happening.

UNLESS this is Finch or Johns Batman. He would be to stupid to do anything while his entire family is murdered. Then ask to die at the last ten seconds.

Uhhhh I can't remember. In Post-Crisis stories Joker's Last Laugh, Batman saved the Joker (Nightwing nearly killed him), because he doesn't want Nightwing to have blood on his hands. And in another story (can't remember which), he saved the Joker again and doused him full of painkillers... even though Commissioner Gordon persuaded him that he doesn't have to save the Joker because he's not the one that killed him. -.-

Is that a rational and moral Batman who would sacrifice himself to save other lives? I don't see that. Batman there is willingly saving a mass murderer who would only break out again to cause more deaths.

This same Batman would probably be stoic enough to endure those above challenges that OP mentioned.

He clears. This stuff would just piss him off at first, the sadness would come later. He's already seen Talia and damian die, and Alfred has been beaten up before, and he knows his parent are dead and can likely think rationally enough to realize that and not give in

In round 2 he will be able to deduce that all of this is a dream, Because there is no way that Talia would get eaten by Croc.

@vthany883: And yet writers have her m nearly killing dozens of people and needing to be forced to back down.

Just more proof that the Joker has so much plot armor that his existence ruins DC as a whole.
