I'll just say this:...This has been one of the most enjoyable CaV's I've seen(top 3 definitely)and would congratulate both of you for representing and debating a battle that would most likely never cease to stop.Both of you have shown why these 2 are extremely formidable street levelers from their respective worlds.Both of you sure brought it and honestly I'm undecisive just like the actual battle. Just when I thought I had an answer,it changed.Right now I'm still thinking it but just know both of you...

I just read through this debate for the past hour and honestly, this is a really close call, I honestly think they are equal (Batman and Steve) but the debater that did the best to sway my opinion would have to be comicstooge, he consistently debated in a fashion that showed Batman's style and counters for people that are physically superior to him. His conclusion also summed up why Batman should win in a close fight, he is just more versitile, he has an answer for most things Rogers will throw at him (Literally), and has always been able to fight while analising a opponents weakness, not that Cap can't as well, but he isn't outsmarting Bruce.

Purely voting on the debater. By the way, just to flaw you both, this debate was too damn long, lol.

I think @wolverine08 showed fundamental knowledge on both characters at hand, and inturn, put up the best case for Captain America I've seen thus far. Proving that Captain America is indeed Bruce's physical superior and convincing me in the final argument that that coupled with his own various equipment could edge Steve in the win.

Great debating both of you, I mean it, this literally came down to the conclusion for me, but I'll hand my vote to Wolverine08.

Wtf! I don't want the voting finished up after I wake up later today. So @wolverine08@comicstooge I have read the arguments for both sides, props to both of you for putting up probably the closes CaV i have seen on CV. Both made great arguments and I found myself supporting one or the other throughout reading the debate. After going over both of your conclusions double checking your feats, logic, and main arguments I give my vote to @comicstooge by a slim majority, I think his arguments for batmans counters, martial skills, equipment that he could bring to the table convinced me that Batman can take this in a close fight. Still though @wolverine08 most convincing argument for Cap I have seen on the battle boards. Cheers to both of you!

I've been following this CAV since the get go and I have to say this has easily been one of the best debated and evenly matched CAVs for quite some time on here. Now for my breakdown:

Comicstooge did a brilliant job outlining Batman's superb martial arts skill, his strategic mindset, stealth tactics and gadgetry versatility with well sourced and mostly properly contextualised feats. Along with his excellent brand of logic explaining how Batman would react to an in character fight with Captain America, this really strengthened his final arguments towards the end of the debate. However, the one area he lacked the necessary force in was accounting for Wolverine08's technical skill response which I'll move onto in the next paragraph.

As for Wolverine08, man the guy's already becoming one of the Vine's best street level debaters. As expected, he killed it on his brilliant feats for Steve's obvious physical edge. From strength and striking power to speed and reactions, there's no doubt Wolvie proved his character was physically superior to CS' character. Also, his posts on technical skill were a solid counter to CS' arguments for Batman's superior H2H fighting skill. Nonetheless, there was one part of the debate towards the end that I do feel Wolvie slipped on and that was the gadgetry part. He tried to utilise scans of Batman not using gadgets against skilled opponents which was easily countered by Stooge referencing more modern showings of Batman using gadgets. And, I'm not gonna lie, his reliance on the Spider-Man fight was still presented out of context even with his acknowledgement. Peter was still fangasming over his respect for Captain America and even when he was on the Pro Reg side, it was clear he didn't want to fight, let alone hurt Cap so that majorly hampered his performance against Steve. That and another scan I can't remember didn't have the right context behind IMO.

So to conclude, this was almost too close to call. Wolverine08's forceful arguments behind Cap's physicals and armour presented a diverse case for Captain America. However, I do feel that @comicstooge possessed the slight edge in countering Wolvie's arguments where it was needed, showing that Batman's physicals were enough to contend with Steve and that he would use gadgets in combat. Those kinds of counters and contextualised scans are what interested me most about his case. So I give my vote to CS. Excellent debating from the both of you though, this was a treat to read!

That makes the current score 6-5 in CS' favour. The votes are justifiably close here!

I think ComicStooge did a better job proving that even though Cap has a Super Soldier Serum and is a superhuman,Batman can match him and even outmatch him in fight between the two.
