Takes place in an empty room with infinate dimensions (endless). They start 100 feet away from each other. Sorry if this has already been done, I looked for it and didn't see it so...

Batman is here just for moral support, In the time it would take Midnighter to take 5 steps towards Batman, Supes would have already taken out Apollo and would then proceed to save Batman from getting his spine ripped out.

I think this battle is funny. It is like the original duo against a fanfic shipping of themselves. I believe Team 1 would be disturbed then enraged at the shipping. Should boost morale, no?

EDIT: Or Team 1 could lose all fighting spirit by way of losing hope in humanity. Damn shippers!!!! *Shakes fist at the sky*

Pre-52 Supes definitely but New-52 Supes I don't know. Can anyone show me feats that put New-52 Supes above Apollo?

If we take Apollo's around the world in 60 seconds feat for speed that would tell us his max speed is about 106300 m/s which is about a third of the speed of light. I am not sure as I do not follow Superman closely but I would assume he has still maintained his FTL movement capabilities in the new 52 continuity. Not to mention the bench pressing the Earth feat just puts Superman on a whole different strength level.

@TotalBalance: Isn't the pressing Earth pre-52? And do we have any evidence to support the fact that Superman can still move at those speeds in new-52?

in RHATO 14 He travels at the same speed as a teleporter

and in Superman 13 he bench press the earth for five days without exposure to the sun

As I said I do not follow Superman, although I do believe that the bench pressing the earth for 5 days feat is new 52 but I could be wrong. I doubt that the writers have de-amped him so much that he can't even fly FTL or at least very close to FTL but again I could be wrong. It is for these reasons I am saying it is a stomp for Batman & Superman. A wet T-shirt contest might be more evenly matched though.
