Bats and Peter should be able to come up with enough things in 1 day to defeat the villains

Tough. What resources is Bruce given? Going with team two at the moment.

I think Team 2 would win. Since Doc Ock, Lizard, and Bane are on it.

Batman and Spiderman stand head on against the combined might of the villains and their one week prep...then Batman, being as smart as he is, utters the words "...do it now"

Superman swoops down and incapacitates the villains; that would be Batman's best plan =P

Current Lizard is shown to be pretty damn smart (on top of his instinct control) with Dr Ock and a week of prep I think the villains take this.

Hey, all part of the prep.

I am of course joking in case you still don't get it.

Batman's villains are pretty much nonfactors here. They can be taken out of play in seconds. Not even Bane is strong enough to break Spider-man's Webbing.

Between Bruce and Peter they have all they need to take these guys down. Carnage and Venom are the Biggest threats but Peter Knows the Symbiotes weaknesses. With Bruce's resources they'll be able to fashion weapons to deal with them. Additionally, The greatest advantage the symbiotes have is their immunity to Peter's Spider-Sense. Sadly for them, Ben's Spider-Sense still works fine because he never bonded with the Venom symbiote.

Kaine already has the Stealth suit which can cancel out Hobgoblins lunatic laugh. Bruce and Pete can build off that to give the whole team similar protection. Additionally that suit allows Kaine to go invisible...which the Villains have no defense against.

Lizard can be injected with the cure again and taken out of play.

Ock has a hard enough time beating 1 Spider-man...3 will be too much for him.

i feel an easy win for team 1... bruce comes up with some stuff to take out spidermans villians (like a sonic thing for venom?) and spiderman can solo batmans enemies, the rest of the spidey/batmen group just help the cause.. pretty much only hobgoblin and lizard wont be able to have a device built to beat them...but then its like 4 or 5 on 1 and im sure batman can make a cure for lizard, and he has better tech so he should beat hobgoblin...heroes usually win =p

Agree. Give Pete and Team Bats Bruce's resources, Pete's insider knowledge, and natural ability, and they take it. Imagine Pete knowing what he knows, and full permission to bring all of batman's toys into a fight plus whatever he and Bruce can cook up in a day. Not sure how people think the villains stand a chance. Sure doc and hobgoblin have their own resources, but they've always had them and they have trouble with Pete alone, and they're usually the ones with a prep advantage vs Pete as is. Give Pete a prep master and near limitless resources, and his team makes short work of the whole lot.

The heroes have one day of prep and are in a city, where they dont have access to either bruce's or peter's resources, where are they going to get the tech necessarily to take down venom and carnage?

plus carnage can posses people, remember?

Pete's resources are in his head. Metropolis and Gotham are same universe same coast, and a quick trip between. The battle is in Metropolis. Nothing said about prep. Venom goes down like a sack of potatoes to stuff Bats likely has on his belt. The tech necessary to separate and isolate the carnage symbiote is not hard to come up with either. Pete says to Bruce "I need this." Bruce says, "have it, will get it", or "I just gave it to you."

Peter is definately Team 1's greatest asset in this fight, but I think in this case the villain team might just be to much. Venom's usefulness depends on if it is Eddie or Mac, but he's still going to bring the hurt either way. Carnage can kill multiple people at the same time. Lizard, Ock, and even bane are all quite smart and can make some things happen with a week of prep. It's a bloody fight and I'd reckon every Batman villain is dead at the end of it, but I think I'm going to give a narrow victory to the villains here.

If we asume this city has people in it they could be facing a small army of possessed carnaglings.

The villians have a week of prep (and some of them arnt prep slouches) vs there one day

Venom could be camoed the whole fight, anytime he sets off ben's spidersense he would probably attribute it to the fight at hand, like that he could pick off bats, nightwing and red X in seconds, they dont have the durability to tank a single shot from venom, after that they could have brock take kaine to a seperate location where the original carnage is waiting, there he and carnage would kill kaine, the rest of the villians would only need to get ben and peter within the range of hobgoblins scream and team hero goes down.
