I said no shadow possession,meaning he doesn't become a shadow and posses the flash but he can still become a shadow lol

still spite Gajee has a hell of a lot of durability ( got upgraded to steel dragon) and his power is insane but Flash blitzes him hard there is no logical way of him hiting the flash other then a lucky hit with an AOE attack (possible not likely)

@amazingcurbstompman: No Dragonslayer has eaten anything putside of magic so I don't expect them to be able to eat the Speed Force.

Anyway Gajeel and Natsu eating shadows and lightning is pure PIS. You're probably thinking why? It was stated that anything outside of their element is poisonous to them. Example: Natsu tried to eat Laxus's lightning once, but he choked and went unconscious for a couple of days. Yet all of a sudden when the plot needs him he is able to eat/use lightning. PIS at its finest.

@justsomerandomkid: Well it's been said flash using speed force at a high rate will kill him,it doesn't stop the comic writers from having him use it and INSANE rates.

Natsu didn't eat Laxus lightning during the fight against hades,Laxus GAVE Natsu the power of the lightning dragon.

Gajeel sucking up the shadow dragon power was weird but later on it shows that a mixture of dragon slayer magic is compatible with others which is why Laxus could fight the Hellfire Dragon for a while on his own and Gajeel was having trouble with another Dragon type (not specified yet which type that dragon was) and Natsu was hurting the dragon Rogue was on as well.

PIS writing is in everything at some point.

@amazingcurbstompman: You're right PIS is in everything at some point, but when just almost every major battle is won due to PIS or the more well known "Nakama Power" then we kinda need to draw a line in the sand.

By the way everyone,

Laxus who has the Dragon Slayer magic of the lightning Dragon shot a bolt of lightning at a girl and Gajeel was able to get up and intercept the bolt of lightning.

Speed of light (186,282miles/sec)
Lightning travels at (93,000+miles/sec)

So yes there is still a speed difference that is vast but not drastic especially with his durability and shadow mode.

Wally runs fast : he launch projectiles and makes a tornado around Gajeel.
During the time Gajeel is in the airs, Wally do a full running around the World to Get the full speed and then hit Gajeel at full speed.
