cain is the better fighter. but babs would find some way to outsmart her. caassandra was a cool character. but babs was the better batgirl. to me cassie cain never really felt right in the role.
well in the batgirl series that cassie starred in. she was in a simulation where she was fighting the babs batgirl. and cassie kicked her a lot. but there was this one time that babs got her with a bat bolo because cassandra was being to overconfident. beside babs is too smart to take her on hand to hand. she could use some kind of sedative or an electric batarang. it could be done.

Was that in the same simulation, or are you referring to another instance? Besides, as far as using sedatives, if it's something that can be fired, Cassandra would dodge it. The same is said against an electric batarang (which I doubt would work because the Batsuits are supposed to be insulated, anyway). Unless Barbara knows about Cassandra's ability to fight (because Babs, as Batgirl, really wouldn't know Cassandra that well), I don't think she would attempt to use other tactics, rather than attempting to fight her hand-to-hand first.
@Static Shock: i have to admit i am a little biased. i loved barbara as batgirl. and never really liked cassandra as batgirl even though i like the character. i even like stephanie brown better.
@Static Shock: that's why i like her. she's not some incredibly skilled ex-assassain. she's a normal girl in extraordinary situations. i just find her more relatable. plus i think the batgirl costume should look feminine. and hers and babs does. sometimes you could barely tell cassie was a girl.
cass was able to defeat supergirl, who has superspeed and strength even though she doesn't have any powers, she dfeafeated lady shiva, the world's greatest martial artist, she makes batman cough out blood before he even knows(or sees) cass do it, she kicks nightwing's butt twice and dodges bulletS piont blank and snipers! tell me how she can't defeat babs? even babs said so herself: cass is highly intelligent!
