Three of my favorite Sith and I still didn't get tagged..

Team 1.

Hate to say it, but I don't think Darth Maul's going to do much here

Just saw NJO jedi.....hmmm if Jaina or Mara can hold out long enough for Luke to defeat Sidious team 2 can win...

Unsure at the moment. Maybe Team 2

Team Sith has two powerhouses, Team NJO have one, but Luke is the more powerful. IMO Sidious will be inclined to fight Luke, which will leave Plagueis to overwhelm one of the weaker parties like Jaina or Mara while Maul fights closely with the other. From there Plagueis can either help Maul mop up or attack Luke. Depends on how much stock you put into Luke's ability to fight multiple opponents. I'm siding with the Sith for a majority.

Team 1. Jaina and Mara wont stop Plagueis and Maul (I am willing to say that Plagueis might hold against them solo).

Plagueis has a bit of an edge over Mara or Jaina. I don't really know, to be honest.

Palpatine vs Luke could either be extremely long or rather short.

Also, Maul is only a half-Banite Sith :P

@burnface: Shoulda put FOTJ Jaina in would be a closer battle.

Canonically speaking, Filoni and Lucas have retconned Maul into being intended to be Sidious' successor. A full Sith with full Sith training. Lol.

In Legends he's still the same.

@i_like_swords: When did Lucas retcon Sidious intending that Maul was his successor? He pretty much already stated that Palpatine didn't want a successor, which was his idea all along. The amount of times Lucas contradicts himself is laughable. Besides, Maul is only physically trained, and Banite Sith have, for generations, been able to make some form of public, usually political appearance. Maul is obviously unable to do that. Not really "full training".

Still, the Banite Sith is a Legends thing to begin with, and this is Legends, so.... Maul is only half-Banite. :P

@shootingnova: I'll need to dig up the thread on KMC where it all got hashed out. There's a couple of new quotes from Filoni, Lucas and the SW website which basically state that Maul was meant to be Sidious' potential successor. And yeah, their retcons are lolworthy.

Well... Bane is canon as per his spirit and the Rule of Two is referenced in TCW... so they kind of have dibs now. Bastards.

@i_like_swords: His Rule of Two is mentioned, but it's not the same as the one in Legends. Especially since Bane doesn't look anything like his Legends counterpart, his apprentice isn't Zannah, etc.

Also, you mentioned he was a "potential" successor, not an intended one.

I'm goons say team 1 Sidious will have to fight Luke then Plagueis and maul kill the others and then overwhelm luke so let's say about team 1: 7-7.5/10
