Bane/Catman vs Crossbones/Batroc

Location:

Same conditions as provided below. Cars are stationary. Begin 30 feet apart.

Rules:

-Random encounter.

-Bane is not on venom. Standard gear for Catman. Crossbones has his wrist gauntlets (includes his knives and crossbow) Batroc is unarmed.

-In character.

-Standard elimination rules apply.

I need to think on this one, it's close. Well closer than normal.

I'm leaning towards bane and catman.

Reasons?

Team one would take the majority, I don't think Crossbone or Batroc could take Bane so all Catman would need to do is hold his own against whom ever he's fighting till Bane defeats either of them. They will then gang up on who ever is left.

@0blivion_: While Bane is disputably the MVP, one could also dispute Catman is the weak link. Therefore, your plan applies to team Marvel as well.

I think Catman can give Crossbones a good fight and even take a few. He did do OK with Bronze and Batman. And when he's in berzerker mode, WATCH out. Team 1.

I think you are underestimating Catman a bit, he is not easily taken down (not saying that he's got high durability or endurance but he take a punch and isn't a chump). IMO he could last long enough against either on team two till Bane takes down whom ever he decides to fight against.

@0blivion_: No, I'm not. I'm stating Catman is the weak link out the the entire roster, not that he's weak. There's a very significant difference.

You're misunderstanding me because that's not what I said. I said you're implying Crossbones or Batroc would be eliminated quicker than Catman potentially would be. I didn't say anyone be eliminated quickly. Come on, dude. lol

I cant imagine Bane losing to either of em,its funny for some reason i always thought that Bane and Crossbones were quite alike is that just me?

Oh ok. IMHO if Bane were to fight Batroc I could see the fight going down quicker then his if he were to Crossbone because the way that he has handled Nightwing in the past which would lead to Bane helping Catman. If Bane was to fight Crossbone the fight will last longer but Bane would be then victor in the end, while Batroc would get hits in I don't think he would get enough to put Catman down before Bane finishes Crossbone's.

I think Batroc would give Catman some major problems with his agility and unique style.

I think Batroc and Crossbones will kill each other before the others pretty much granting the Secret...Two the win. That sounds stupid but teams that have synch, confidence in each other plus skill will usually out do teams that dont. Feat wise Bane should have quite an easy time with either or on the other team and Catman also can handle his own but Im not sure if he's as good as anybody else on the other team. Hmmm

I read all of it and no, that statement doesn't tell me why they'd beat two characters that can give Steve Rogers very good fights.

LOL! is bane gunna venom up or el hombre de regular? Im thinking Bane and Catman by a thin margin unless venom is involved then Bane solos and accidentally breaks Catman.

Baxter you know i dont speak spanish! Hmm.. its very close then... I guess for me it just comes down to more familiarity with Bane and Catman. I see bane as the superior fighter in this battle and Catman i belive while not being super good will play up to his opposition and provide a challenge.

@redhood21: I can be disputed that Bane is certainly the MVP here. However, I would vouch that Crossbones isn't far behind at all and a battle between those two (with this setting) would be downright brutal.

In my eyes the biggest factor here is Catman. Could he take a majority over Batroc? How long could he hold out against Brock? Those are questions people need to ask.

@Loki9876: I agree Bane would beat Crossbones, but not for a large majority nor would it be an easy fight. I think that one holds the potential to take quite a bit of time so for me it boils down to how Catman vs Batroc plays out.

@k4tzm4n: yes, I don't think it would be an easy fight. I'm not even sure who would win. I'm just leaning more to Bane and catman.

Depends on the match-ups. Bane vs. Crossbones would be very close, but I think ultimately I would give it to Bane. Same for Batroc vs. Catman, except that I'd eventually give this one to Batroc 9 times out of 10 (every now and again, Catman just goes crazy and cannot lose except, say, to Batman - and even that'd be close). After those two fights, I'd say Bane would be able to beat Batroc but only because he has experience fighting Nightwing. But the fight I really want to see is Catman vs. Crossbones. I'm thinking a very brutal and bloody double KO.

...which means, I guess, that in any situation Bane is the last man standing.
