Bane vs Lui Kang

Liu constantly gives goro the business, bane loses.

I'll go with Liu here, Liu has faced every martial art in the MKverse at some point or another, I don't know how there can be any doubt about the skills of a group of characters who do nothing but fight hand to hand in tournaments that are to the death.

Liu Kang was trained from childhood as a Shaolin Monk and he was without equal in the order, he won two straight Mortal Kombat tournaments, and has received training from Raiden who himself has mastered over 750 varieties of Jujutsu and that is his secondary fighting style, now I highly doubt he passed everything he knew onto Liu, the overall point is that Liu is more than a match for any DC Street Level in hand to hand maybe not guys like Karate Kid but Bane should not be an issue, and combined with his phenomenal striking power he should beat Bane convincingly, as last time I checked Bane himself isn't exactly an amazing Martial Artist, coupled with the fact that Kang has beaten Goro who is similar in a sense to Bane, I've backed Goro over Bane in a past debate here, that's just how I see it.

Is New 52 Bane significantly better than his old version?

Depends, can Liu Kang use his fire powers to enhance his striking power and speed? if so he has this imo.

Otherwise I'd take Bane 8/10
