@CitizenBane: Really? Isn't Bane really good at Chess though (I heard he beat Ra's in it)?
@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia: He did, but this isn't a chess match.
Nothing against Lex, but doesn't Bane's track record of outcheating Batman count for anything? I mean what did Lex do? He became President of the United States and did what with it?

Lex became a god powerful enough to mess with the functions of one of the Endless in the last pre-Flashpoint arc of Action Comics. I think it was the second last, before Reign of Doomsday.
@CitizenBane: OK. Luthor for the win then.
I just thought Bane would put up a good challenge.
@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia: He also concocted a plan to KO Superman at exactly 8:00 PM in the very first post-Flashpoint issue of Action Comics.
@CitizenBane: A friend of mine told me he cured cancer just to prove he could. Would you happen to be able to verify said claim? Thanks.
Luthor's pretty dangerous. I still remember him taking down Nightwing. Then there was the Everyman Project if I'm not mistaken. Also, as a businessman who does shady things, he got away with a lot.
He did, then reversed his sister's condition again, under the token of Lex giveth, and Lex taketh away. It was in the Johns/Manapul Adventure Comics run.@CitizenBane: A friend of mine told me he cured cancer just to prove he could. Would you happen to be able to verify said claim? Thanks.

That because someone is good at chess does not make them a skilled strategist when it comes to life. It kind of like saying that a chess grandmaster will be instantly good at Go. People over rate chess.
@Morpheus_: Thanks. That's not only cold and evil, but it's majorly impressive as an intelligence feat.
@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia: What Morph said. I remember reading that story in a bookstore.
Hot dog.
...tell me again, why is it that Marvel's big brains get far more respect than DC's?
@Morpheus_: I read it because I read somewhere that Gaiman gave his blessing for Death's appearance there. Apparently Gaiman's approval is not all it's cracked up to be.
@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia:
