Bane vs Kano

If this is pre 52 Bane I think Kano can take him. If it's new 52 Bane he wins, he's more impressive than pre52. Is Bane on venom or not? It shouldnt affect the outcome too much but just curious

Well then probably Kano, as you said he can cut the tubes, and his weapons give him the edge over Bane.

I guess my point was that since he is stronger, more durable, etc he can actually physically put down Kano with the few hits he's going to get. It would be close using new 52 versions, but personally I think Bane could pull a win

@ChaosBlazer: I'm fully aware of his strength feats regarding the New 52, but he's a pale reflection of what his Pre-52 incarnation could do in regards to skill and mentality.

How i see it going: Bane comes to punch him and kano grabs is fist. then kano shoots a lazer at his eye. bane falls on the ground, then kano trows buterflyknifes at his face FINIESHER

Kano has a knife he could just cut bane into pieces... well not into pieces, but he could slash him up pretty badley.

He was stomping batman in the new 52....Which is more then what pre 52 could say.

@jashro44: In regards to pure physicality sure, but he lacks both the mental capacity and skill that his Pre-52 incarnation possessed.

Not saying New 52 Bane would lose this bout, but I'm saying the former is more impressive to me.

If Kano's eye laser is allowed I'd say he wins.

I don't know much about Bane's full comic history (though I love the character), but Kano is a DIRTY fighter. He has GREAT skill and is pretty smart as he can turn the tables very quickly. I mean, he is a the crime boss/ex-military man who infiltrated a government agency and killed Sonya's partner as well as many others. The MK comic even has Kano besting Liu Kang in a (dirty) fight as well as a few others. Though bane is crazy strong and pretty smart, I can really see Kano pulling out a win.

Well, Bane's impressive too. Kano was bestin Liu Kang in a (dirty) fight? Bane also did win Batman in a unfair way. I think that even Kano has knives and the laser thing, i think Bane could pull a win here, not sure about the majority though

Kano may be not very intelligent, but he's smart, combat-wise

This the guy who talked Kahn in to sparring him and ultimately became THE General of Kahn's Army. Kano is very resourceful and thinks ahead. In most situations his first thought isn't "how am I going to beat this guy". It's "How am I going to exploit this guy and get advantage." As I'm sure Bane can do, and probably has done, Kano can size an opponent up and take appropriate action; fight or flight.

Either Pre or Post 52 Bane would win easily.
