@k4tzm4n: Haha I think they were talking about remaking a sequel to the original movie, it was that bad. I remember seeing this when I was younger, I don't remember the special effects being lower than SyFy quality. Phew.

@texasdeathmatch: Well, it's sorta the start up for the characters. there's different origins. Jax, Sonya, and Kano, are more of the crime show part. Johny Cage is based more on reality as well. Then there's Kitana, and Mileena, coming from a different realm, with no guns so it's less crimey. Raiden was my favourite. I'd say it's good.

Yeah, the latest live action Mortal Kombat stuff was better than I expected. I really enjoyed Cage/Raiden/Sub Zero's stories.

@texasdeathmatch: Mortal Kombat: Legacy can be found on Youtube, each webisode serves to set up each character which will hopefully lead to a movie or tv show later. It is rather good in my opinion, the latest was Cyrax and Sektor and that rocked.

I'm not sure what Jax is capable of with or with his cybernetic arms, i highly doubt he's as good a h2h combatant as Bane is. I'm leaning towards Bane in the first round, due to being better at h2h but for round two i'm not sure.

Yeah, the Cyrax and Sektor one showed off some rather decent cg and flashy choreography that was a lot of fun to watch. That episode came out like two months ago, so a new one might coming soon.

What I meant was Bane isn't nearly as powerful without his Venom, he's still smart and can fight but loses power obviously ;)

Texas meant Mortal kombat legacy, not a show but a web series that they hope will spawn a new movie since WB owns the rights now ;)

It is good. This episode, towards the end Jax fights Kano and decks him so hard he punches out his eyeball...

When you say Superman/Batman isn't canon are you referring to the entire esries or just the Superbat storyline where Bruce punched a hole through Bane? Because that series does have Supergirl's post crisis origin story in it, but I thought the entire Superbat story was one big acid trip.

I hated the costumes that Sub-Zero and Scorpion wore, the look terrible. That fight was pretty cool though.
