Unless Bane accidentally hit's Data's "off switch" (look it up) no version of Bane takes this. Data doesn't like to fight but when he does he's a beast. Even though his abilities are rarely displayed in TNG, watch the first season. There's an episode where everyone's drunk or something and the ship's about to explode. He has to re-order a whole bunch of chips in a very short amount of time. This feat shows he at least has what I would call "super-human" speed, and there's no reason to think his reflexes arn't also up to par. That combined with his durability, strength, and intellect..... Data by curb stomp. Then he pulls out his tri-corder and runs an analysis on Bane before getting beamed back to the Enterprise. He has to apologize to Picard for breaking the "prime directive", but as he was attacked and had no choice, Picard doesn't punish him.
