@patrat18: why not? Steve has used pressure point fighting to dismantle the Hulk, whose leagues above Bane. And Cap is bounds ahead of Nightwing martially.

His pressure points failed on the hulk. The scan everyone posts of him using pressure points is just cap tossing his shield at hulks eye.

He didn't really do anything that spectacular to be honest. It does show he knows pressure points though.

hulk is leagues above bane is strength yes not fighting abilty and tactics. bane can fight cap properly while i believe nightwing could take out batroc,

Not a bad showing seeing as this is the hulk and he's consistently shown resistance to pressure points but they clearly did not work.

Hulk doesn't seem fazed at all.

@jashro44: he crunched over and cap launched him through a door. I'd say that's a very effective feat given hulks actual mass, strength, and durability. To say that he couldn't do this to Bane and inflict even more damage would be silly.

He's crunched over because cap tossed him. There is 0 evidence to say caps pressure point hurt him at all and considering cap tried and failed later I would say it was ineffective. Hulk seems more surprised than hurt.

He could possibly do the same to bane but bane himself is a skilled and can likely counter better than hulk can.

@jashro44: it's true Bane is a better fighter than the Hulk, but are you really placing him on Steve's level?

@namor_curry: hes not as skilled as cap no, but hes more skilled than hulk and much smarter than cap or hulk, overall hes skilled enough to take on cap.

I don't see why he wouldn't be on Steves level. He's held his own against batman a few times, beat nightwing in a single page, He did very well against JPV, etc.

He would lose to Steve as Steve has better physicals overall (speed and agility, he's also more durable than bane), and he has the shield but in terms of skill I think Bane has held his own with enough skilled fighters to say he's in Steves league. He may not be better but he's not that far behind.

@nerdchore: Steve is a tactual genius, who posses a brain of peak human potential. Bane is not going to outsmart Steve.

@jashro44: I just don't see Bane being able to keep up with Steve, whose had bullet time reactions. Steve has Bane beat in basically every category. Same with Nightwing.

I think people are underrating Nightwing, although Cap and Batroc still win handily.

I think Steve can beat either individually but not at the same time. I don't believe he's fought 2 people as competent and skilled as bane and nightwing at the same time. Steve is faster than Bane but Bane has been able to keep up and tag batman who may not be as fast and agile as Steve, I would say is fairly close. Nightwing has his own bullet timing feats and all though he has his not so great showings he has his good showings (dancing rings around deathstroke, holding his own against batman, etc).

@jashro44: that's a reasonable opinion. Either way it's Steve's team that wins.
