Mido kills by by using his own Logic to effectively dismantle it. Sort of like counter-intrusion software. Ban's immortality is something entirely different.
Ban gained his immortality by drinking from the cup of the fountain of youth. In most iterations of this subject, the waters of which would restore a persons youth, make them younger (reverse aging), and/or give them everlasting life. Very scarcely does someones version make the user immortal. Baccano had that going for it, but it was an alchemical formula given to humans by the Devil, and they could still die, but only by being 'eaten' by someone else who'd drank the elixir as well.
For some reason, NnT's variation of this made Ban immortal. Not only does he not age (yet still can grow out his hair), but he can't be killed. At least not by normal means. The extent of his immortality is not entirely explained nor explored. The only one to ever leave any kind of permanent damage on Ban's body was Meliodas using his Hellblaze Enchantment while using the Dragon Hilt, which was a ritual artifact used to seal the Demon Clan. How any of that plays together is, as of yet, unexplained. Only that it was the only thing that could give Ban a scar. But as he said; "It was a special case."
Even though Hendrickson was amped by Red Demon Blood, and then further by Ash Demon Blood, and having shown similar black flames as Meliodas' Hellblaze, he failed to have the same kind of effect as Meliodas.
