In this battle, the Fire Nation princess will take on the Equalist leader, who will win?

For this battle, Amon must preserve the illusion of being a nonbender. He can use subtle bloodbending (like he did before revealing his bending) to throw off aim, and he can remove bending.

Fight takes place in the Agni Kai arena. Starting distance is 15 feet.

Amon. Why? Stimulated pre-cog, TP, similar speed, durability, and little less or similar skill level.

Idk I think Amon can actually pull this off, initialy I was gonna say lightning MVP but he is groaned against benders and I also agree with gizmorino for the most part.

Azula, imo too deadly.

Azula is deadly but useless when amon knows all her attacks will go, can predict her every movements, he even sometimes control the movement of the body of his targets. Torlakk explained everything.

This battle will end with azula being a non-bender.

@gizmorino: That's the thing, shes unpredictable and is able to mask her stuff, we learned this with toph who can tell if someone is lying yet breezed it like nothing.

If you lie without even knowing you pass, if you lie and know but do it with confidience like sh!t ain't gonna happen, it will bypass it.

Oliver queen passed a polymorph stuff or whatever it's called, and lied confidiently.

She is unpredictable, but when someone uses bloodbending to control your nerves and you don't even notice you are being controlled, or uses bloodbending to know your everymoves like pre-cog, it's useless.

@killerwasp: honestly, there are characters outside of the dc-verse that will make awesome red lanterns-punisher, ozai(imagine his finale fireblast as a red plasma-blast.XD), azula comes to mind some powerful-hulk comes to mind- there are enough characters outside the dc-verse that would make awesome lanterns.

Because Azula was so fast (even without her bending) that even Aang with his airbending was unable to catch up and said that "she is too fast". She was very impressive during the eclipse.

Hmmm....I think Azula could pull a slight majority with Amon's current limitations.

Azula under these conditions. Amon, fighting like this, only beat so low level benders who didn't have many, if any feats. With Firebending Azula wins.

@jacthripper: they might have been low level, but he also beat them with casual ease, and it doesn't mean he didn't display good feats in the process. While he didn't beat them like this, he did repeatedly evade Korra and Mako's firebending attacks

Amon and easily if they're starting 15 ft. apart. Only advantage Azula should have here is here power output; Of which Amon can dodge.

Not really how that played out and she was entirely on the defensive so was putting everything into dodging.

She was able to dodge some attacks but then needed the Dai Li to get away.

I dont get it.How do people think Amon uses subtle bloodbending to throw off people's aim? The ones attacking him would realize it if their own hands were moving and pointing to other directions than the ones the willed them to.And noone in the show seemed to complain about such issues.

Azula. She will just dodge and then roast him alive.
But the strongest opponent Amon took by himself without BB was Lightning Bolt Zolt...

She can't tag him? You know that Azula is not a street punk gangster that throws lightning like Zolt right? She can use fire and unlike him she will run around evading as well. And can also use fire jets and has huge raw power that Amon doesn't have the ability to dodge.

When did Amon EVER bloodbend someone's aim?

Read the OP then rewatch episode 11 of Book 1, clearly stated by Mako that he bloodbent along with confirmation from writers. That CRIME LORD named Zolt surpasses Azula in speed and power but still lost.

Azuls loses, fact. She can only slightly delay the inevitable.

Amon causally dodged a lightning bolt of this size. Azula can't do anything close to that level of output.

Zolt's blasts are nothing like that when he throws them. This happened when all his energy was unleashed after Amon took his bending. Still, Azula has double the size and power of blasts like that.
When you have any real evidence that Amon uses bloodbending to control your aim you can talk. All Amon did was dodge some street punk and take his bending away. Great for him.
