Azula, Katara vs Korra

In this battle Azula and Katara will put aside their differences to take on Avatar Korra, but who will win?

Korra is in perfect health for this fight. She has all the elements, but no Avatar State

Azula is sane

Katara has 4 water pouches (more water is available too, but she is has this on her at all times)

Fight takes place in Republic City, by the river. Starting distance is 25 feet. Time is perpetual twilight

Victory by ko or death

Round 1: All are in character. No comic feats for Azula and Katara

Round 2: All are bloodlusted. Comic feats allowed

@arcus: Korra has been shown to bend a large amount of elements without the avatar state Abd her fighting style is swift but powerful

@arcus: r2: she flash freeze, r1, she can keep up with them, she may lose but not without a good fight, she and katara is a debate, she and azula is a debate, so she will lose r1, but r2 she wins.

Round 1 I see Katara being a decent enough distraction for Korra creating an opportunity for Azula to hit her with lightning

Round 2 Since Korra is bloodlusted she isn't going to give them the chance to create a distraction and she'll probably kill one off immediately then it'll will be 1 v Korra and whoever it is can't beat Korra with all elements

Korra is hot good, but not that good.

We have already seen that an A+ bender can be a hard nut to crack for the avatar, here we have two.She simply is not capable of managing two top tier benders at the same time.

team 1 without a doubt. katara and azula are top tier benders and korra cant redirect lightning she gets zapped as its not a stretch as katara is a great bender and can keep her at bay. korra cant beat kuvira 1v1 so she cant beat either of them too as they are on that level. no way is she taking on those two and winning.when korra gets mad she screws up way more she is better calm, katara when she is mad is very good and azula gets weaker with rage but overall no way korra can take the two. i dont think she can full out beat azula or katara 1v1.

@arv993: neither of these two would beat Kuvira one on one in a metal cockpit either. Korra also didn't have waterbending there. Bloodlust doesn't mean unfocused, it just means they're not holding back

@gizmorino: Flash freeze won't keep Katara down

@arcus: it depends on the surrounding but in a neutral area like kuvira vs korra round 1 if it was azula korra would likely lose. azula is faster than korra and azula can keep up with aang korra is not that level. she can likley lose there.

and yea katara would lose to kuvira in a cockpit but azula would give her high diff kuvira isnt so great. she is a su yin lvl fighter.

@arcus: fully freezed? Yess she would not get out, half freezed? She would get out, and someone who wanna kill would fully freeze and let the cold and airless structure kill you.

@gizmorino: I suppose it depends on how ready Katara was. We've seen Katara get out of flash freezes before, granted she did that to herself @arv993: Korra's really not that much slower, if at all. Azula's faster than Katara, didn't stop Katara from having a very clear upper hand in their Crystal Catacomb fight. Kuvira would wreck Azula in the cockpit, unlike Korra Azula's not a metalbender, she has no good defense against Kuvira's fast, precise technique

@arcus: azula was losing to katara but she didnt full out lose and katara is more tactical she stopped her at her source, korra would win with a seas nearby bu i say in a neutral area she gets beat. katara has shown to be smart even in the end azula had a big powerup but katara lured and flash freezed, she is just much smarter than korra ever was. katara is very strong and underrated she is almost a toph of waterbending, toph hypes her in LOK and even shown a rivalry with her.

korra isnt katara she is not nearly as tactical and smart ur equating two different styles of benders, korra is a rush type and hotheaded she attacks head on and speed makes a big difference there.

korra by feats is not all that fast especially not aang or azula level and i say in a neutral area in my other post korra would likely go down to azula. metal benders fall like flies to electricity. and feats wise azula is faster and more agile than kuvira ever was so her dodging is nbd.

azula can do fast lightning metal and kuvira can get electrocuted like that she did so in the comics,she just needs time to do big lightning hits which is more deadly.

Korra's very fast, not sure what you've been watching. Heck all you need to do is watch her probending

Kuvira's style has no inherent weakness to electric attacks like Lin's cables, it's no more of a problem then it would be for anyone else. And let's not pretend like lightning's unavoidable

In Round 1 Team 1 has the power to overcome her natural power. Plus Azula will be out to kill and she's killed the Avatar before(cheap or not she did). I believe she could replicate this feat.

In Round 2 Katara can bloodbend her. With Korra stuck still for even a second that's all that's needed for Azula to send a lightning bolt to the head ending the Avatar once again.

R1 teamthey have the necessary numbers and skills to win here

R2 Korra in a very close fight for reasons stated above

@arcus: it wasn't a flash freeze if you are talking of zuko n azula's agni kai, it was still water, she moved in water at a very good speed(reaction probably), while azula was stuck, slow to move or react to it.

@arcus: In round 1 Azula has the agility to tag Korra while Katara can deal the damage, in round 2 Katara or Korra could flash freeze each other in an airless structure and kill either group, but Azula has the agility to maybe avoid it.

@gizmorino: that was a flash freeze, then she melted the ice by exhaling @bluelantern1995: no full moon for bloodbending

@arcus: she said she dint mess with the civil war as she is too old, implying that katara would make a big difference if not. Katara is one of the best waterbenders period and she can use her environment to take water which is a big plus.

korra is fast but nothing on azula or aang level speed, pro benders are fodders more or less they are not epic speed monsters aang in pure speed can run down in hallways insanely fast and in agility is the best character in all of the series with azula who i would say is about par with him. aang dodged bumi's insane attacks one after the other. he even dodged when two rocks flew at him and almost crushed him and bumi had the advantage of it being a closed enirionment, he dodged ozai's lightning,korra is not on that level.

kuvira uses regular metal and azula has shown to do quick bursts in them at will in comics but her more powerful ones where she kills aang is a charged one. azula has lightning on kuvira and has faster speeds in it, and is generally faster and more agile by feats.

Azula is by no means equal to Aang in agility. The only one in ATLA who could maybe be equal to him is Ty Lee, and I'd still say his best is above her. Where was this amazing agility when Azula was losing to Katara?

You're missing the point. Lin's cables could conduct electricity right back to her, Kuvira's projectile style doesn't have that problem. She's no more vulnerable to lightning than anyone else would be. Kuvira shoots projectiles faster than Azula shoots lightning, and her instant lightning has no feats to confirm it would even be a ko

@arcus: i would not really call it one, well can't really remember the picture of the event fully, all i remember is katara trapping her in water, and moving, with azula not even moving, it was still water(liquid).

She never actually freezed the whole water if she did, because the swimming part and all, it was still liquid before she exhaled iirc.

@arcus: Azula and Katara honestly i feel are just as good or possibly better than korra in that, and both are not new to fighting either thats what they do all the time. So imo comparable skill, but both dodge a lot more and imo more creative to a certain extent.

@arcus: Never said she was new, was saying Azul and Katara are no strangers to situational adaption and fighting.

She out-matches them both in their elements plus she has the advantage of flight with both air spouts and water spouts. They won't even be able to to touch her when she does that. Azula literally can't do anything if Korra traps her in a huge pile of frozen ice.
