Good Match up. I'd go with Daken. His damage soak combined with his disappearing act and Pheromones should enable him to get the hits needed.
No pheromones. Hahahaah!!
Curse you Kakarot God_Spawn
I'm leaning towards Daken. His M-Claws will go straight through JPV's armor, and even his bone claws have cut Skaar and Hulk 2099, so he should be able to do a fair bit of damage. He's at least as skilled as JPV, imo, and his healing factor will let him last longer.
When did that happen O.o
@thecheesestabber: It was sometime during his Dark Avengers tenure. I don't remember the issue number off-hand. Scan:
@esquire: strange...thanks
I'm going to go with JPV. Azrael was grown in a test tube and genetically engineered to have super-strength, speed, reflexes, and durability. He's been literally trained since birth by The System and then later on by Batman. The character has plenty of experience first serving as Azrael, the later on as Batman (defeating Bane in one of his first outings), then again as Azrael for years following. Additionally the suit he wears is chalk full of weapons and gadgets.
I sort of doubt this. While Daken being 60+ years old gives him more experience than JPV, JPV likely has more feats. JPV had is own ongoing series for 100 issues, his own mini-series, and countless appearances in the different Bat-books.
All things considered, I think JPV is going to take this.
@onemoreposter: Daken nearly killed Skaar, humiliated Deadpool and X-23 and beaten Wolverine on several occasions.
What has JPV done ?
@stronger: Well....... he beat Batman, Bane, Joker and once I even saw him beat up some crocodiles...........
That's all more impressive than it sounds........
.........
Edit: And he picked up a tree.....
...that's like...a huge tree man......

Batman,Bane and Joker are not anywhere near Skaar......

His fight with Skaar is pretty much irrelevant here. A brute with little skill and poor combat speed has little in common with JPV. It's a good feat, but it doesn't translate to Daken beating Azrael. If Valley had a weapon that cancels healing factors, I wouldn't be surprised to see him beat Skaar just as easily. (Well, I would be surprised because they're from different companies, but that's not the point.)
When did Daken "humiliate" X-23? The only prolonged fight I can think of was the one in (I think) Dark Wolverine, and the two were trading blows pretty evenly before Laura threw him off a building and he pulled her down with him. They fought when Daken was on the Dark X-Men, but that was mostly off-panel and he didn't "humiliate" her by any means.
Wolverine has beaten Daken as many times as Daken has beaten Wolverine, and hasn't had much trouble with his son since he got over his love and realized that Daken needed to be put down. He beat Daken pretty handily when he brought the M-Blade to counter Daken's claws, and in their last encounter Daken got very much humiliated and Wolverine straight-up killed him without much issue.
The Deadpool fight is one of his best showings, but he hasn't really used Disappearing Trick since his early days, so it won't be as definitive a factor here since the fight is in-character.
@stronger: JPV has a moderate healing factor.
Edit: Also, you might as well give Daken his pheromones. JPV has been shown to have a resistance to mental manipulation because of the system. One of his arch enemies, Nick scratch, has the power of subtle mental manipulation often referred to as super human charisma and not wholly unlike Daken's pheromones.

Well Daken 's pheremones strike the nervous system.
Is JPV 's hf as strong as Daken's? If it is prove it.

I never said JPV's healing factor was as strong as Daken's and it isn't. I'm just pointing out that its there.
@onemoreposter: I don't know how it's going to help then....

@esquire: Anyway I haven't seen much from JPV. It's not even debatable Daken would beat Batman,Bane and Joker.
Daken 's healing factor should be the x- factor of his victory.
I already said that I'm leaning towards Daken for a majority. I still want to know which fight with X-23 you're referring to.
