Yeah Azrael took no damage from a high end pyrokinetic and had a rocket from a rocket launcher blow up in his face again for no damage. Cap is not going to hurt him.

I think Azrael vs Luke Cage would be more interseting. But with this, I'd say Cap definitely.

It would take seconds. Honestly the best asset against Azrael is speed and agility. His powers bypass Strength and Durability.

@Ancient_0f_Days: Michael Lane? I think you mistook me for meaning Azrael as in Jean-Paul Valley. I mean't Azrael as in Michael Lane, who isn't as skilled as Jean-Paul I don't think. Or maybe I'm going crazy.

I believe I am referring to the Jean-Paul Valley version who fought Slade....

but from what I've seen from Lane, he should win even easier than Jean due to the suit of sorrow and sword of sin...he has feats of being bullet proof and rocket repellent ....... that should make her more than a match for Steve

I didn't say Cap is going to win but I will disagree with you because I don't think you understand the physics behind a shield throw. The thickness of a shield maybe .06" making all the force that cap throws it pinpointed int a TINY TINY AREA. This unit is called Pressure which is force over area.

Yeah assuming it hits Lane far more likely he deflects it with his swords.

@SlimJ87D: I don't know, if he was really unfazed by a rocket launcher, this shouldn't hurt him. Haven't read any Michael Lane myself, so couldn't give you more info
