But he also got handled by Rachel Summers with telekinesis, and Jean is far more powerful, she was able to contain the out of control powers of Binary with just Telekinesis.
Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow & Hawkeye, are completely soloed within the first couple seconds of the fight. Several people in the X-men can solo them, Jean and Storm being the first that come to mind. Cyclops with full on Optic blast could take out a great deal of them as well. Probably not IronMan, but Jean could shut off his brain.
Is it possible to shut down Hulk, yes, Cable and Storm did it, and nearly killed the Hulk. That can be repeated with Jean and Storm. So there is a way to take him down. With other avenger out of the way they can have a coordinated assault on Thor. Storm may not be able to take the weather control away from Thor but she could try to mess with the air pressure in his ears disorienting him and play Havok with his lungs. Thor had to kiss Storm to steal the air out of her lungs, at a good range Storm could pull this feat off on him. Add the assault from Wolverine and Colossus, He could lose.
But if his latest showings in AvX are any indicator, then as i said just Jean with Telekinesis would be hell for Thor to overcome, but i imagine that Kitty could be a major player in taking him down.
