Rules

Standard Gear for both teams

No Mindrape (It wouldn't make debating fun)

No one can simply blink the other out of existence (Captain Universe, also wouldn't make debating fun)

New-52 characters/Marvel Now Versions

Rounds

Round 1: Morals on, win by KO, entire team must be taken out, random encounter

Round 2: Bloodlusted, win by death, entire team must be taken out, random encounter

Round 3: Both Batman and Captain America are offsite in separate indestructible bunkers coordinating their respective teams, basically playing chess with meta-humans to help paint a better picture. Who can lead their team/coordinate to KO all members of the other team. Morals on.

Round 4: Same as round 1 except Pre-52 feats are allowed for the League.

Round 5: Same as round 2 except JLU (Animal Man, Supergirl, Adam Strange, Hawkman, Equinox), Captain Atom, Simon Baz and Black Adam (Pre-52) assist the JL. The Avengers are assisted by the Annihilators (Ronan, Glads, Beta Ray Bill, Quasar, Surfer)

Was going to say Team 2, but Captain Universe apparently could blink people out of existence.

Really??? I would have thought it would be more of a challenge for the Avengers and heavily in the Leagues favor (would have thought it's a sure thing for the League), since the League will be having more to work with in addition to New-52 feats, interesting......that's the last round I'd thought they'd have trouble in.

Between Thor, Hyperion, and Captain Universe, the whole JL can be defeated. Captain Universe is too strong. Thor is also way up there. God Of Thunder by Jason Aaron proves that.

Did you forget Star Brand? Or is he not allowed in this fight? After all he's part of Hickman's Avengers.

@johnfrank120: he's crazy when it comes to energy, anyone who's powered by energy or use it in attacks (so pretty much half the league) are screwed against him. Kryptonians and lanterns wouldn't last ten seconds.

Round 1: Hyperion vs Superman, Thor vs Shazam (Thor wins..),Hulk vs Superman (after he beats Hyperion), Ironman vs Lex Luthor, Shang Shi vs Green Arrow & Katana, Sunspot & Cannon vs Cp. Cold & Vibe,
Wolverine vs Catwoman ( Logan wins of course..) Captain Universe vs GL & Manhunter, Smasher vs Aquaman, Ex Nihilo vs Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel vs Cyborg, Nightmask and Manifold vs the Flash.

Captain America vs Batman - I'd say niether would win, both getting to a conclution that they are both on the same side and under @micah's control of a Secret War Multiverse Battle, then together stoping the fight on both teams.

Round 2: Bloodlusted version of Hyperion Thor and Hulk alone can go crazier than the JL... I'd Say Avengers win here.

Round 3: Captain America, the Avengers are more loyal to him and they do what he says, I'd Say Batman would win but Hal + Lex + Shazam.. to much ego.. they wouldnt listen to him and would try their own way.

Round 4:I havent read before New 52 so i dont know.. Im guessing same as Round 1.

Round 5:Adding the most powerfull Cosmic characters to the Avengers Team.. JL dont stand a chance even with the ones you added to them.

Weirdly It looks like I have. I must have forgotten, I'll replace Captain Universe with him.

I think these Avengers might be able to win some of these rounds, but not the ones where the JLA are bloodlusted. That's too much raw power charging at them for the Avengers to handle, i think.

My opinion is that it could be construed as rude to tag someone you do not know in a mass tag with other people you don't know. But that's just my opinion.

6 of those characters arent even on the Justice League.

Well my intention was nothing of the sorts, I just thought it would be nice to get new opinions from people I had no prior contact with thus eliminating any form of potential bias in order to get a pure and just answer. And of course to meeting new people is always a plus.

Well then my answer is neither because that Justice League that you mentioned doesn't exist.

I was gonna do standard Hickman roster vs New-52 League but the 3 problems came up

1. The League was outnumbered and I didn't think that was fair. And the Avengers had some non-factors so I trimmed the fat.

2. A few Avengers could solo or decimate so I changed up the rules and added some guys to even out the teams.

3. I wanted to balance out the Avengers mid-tiers with some of the Leagues so I added some in. and heavy hitters (Manhunter)

Rounder 1 I'd say justice league with extreme difficulty.

Round 2: Avengers in a complete stomp like it's not even close. Starbrand Night mask, Captain Universe annihilate everythiNH

Round 3:JL

Round 4:JL

Round 5: Avengers annihilators would pretty much tip the favor in Marvel's favor.

Not sure I follow??? Pretty sure I'm not the first one to add members to teams and change around the roster, and people still voted on who would win.......like the person above.

I think it might Justice League. With the intelligence of Batman will help the Justice League to defeat Avengers and combined with the power of Superman that look like an unstoppable man, his speed, strength, and other power can kill some of Avangers characters. Wonder Woman can help by her strength, combat, lasso of truth and the others, Green Lantern might stop and defend from Avengers. Flash might does an blitz attack. Aquaman prepares armies to fight. Martian Manhunter might be spies and does an unexpected attack. And lex luthor was the most intelligence man in Earth.

I think round 1 JL might win and round 2 by Marvel. DC characters don't want to kill anyone

That said...Avengers,starbrand needs to many people on him and that frees up at least 2 of the avengers to do what ever they want.if it was classic starbrand he would even solo.
