Team 1: Avatar Aang

vs
team 2:

Team 2 wants to eliminate Avatar. Avatar wants to do the same for unknown reasons.
Both Aang may show kindness, only if he has beaten all of them, does not hesitate during battle.
Location: Where Aang and Firelord Ozai fought. (Enough of earth and water around)
Will the team succeed in subduing the Avatar? or will Avatar's strength prove too much for them?
Begin.
@PrinceAragorn1: team 2 is only Pakku? If you are editting, then excuse me. BTW, Ban energy bending and Avatar State in the OP, otherwise it's a pointless stomp.

Sorry. I had added others, but just pakku got inserted :(
Fixed it. Lol I am not a fanboy, and if I were, I would've chosn a better character than Pakku :)
Tell me if it's still a stomp, we will try to make it a fair fight..
On a side note, if any one remembers a better air/water bender, Do suggest.
@PrinceAragorn1: Didn't say you were a fanboy :) I know a fanboy when I see one.
In the recent Avatar: The Last Airbender Comic "The Promise, Part 3", Aang uses the Avatar State to create a chasm around the entire city of Yu Dao:
Sorry I haven't seen Avatar in a long time(still waiting for the next season of korra, though). You know any feats for Gyatso, cause I don't remember.

Actually, what I said sounded like a fanboy to me.. so cleared it.
No, no feats of Gyatso, but he possibly taught aang whatever he knows of airbending. For the thread,Assume that he can airbend on same level the others can bend their respective elements..
@PrinceAragorn1: It's all cool, bro.
Anyway, feat-less mentors are a little tricky. The safest way to uses him here is to give him start-of-book 1 Aang's abilities(or a bit above that). Anything else would be pure speculation, and worthless in battle forum logic.
Anyway, I am siding a bit towards Aang cause all he needs is a touch on the forehead to erase their bending. However this will need more thought, so I'll get back to you on that.
@Killer_of_trolls: Quite so. But considering aang is the last airbender, I couldn't think of anyone else.it would be odd to include aang in battle against himself :)
I am slightly siding with Aang, too, but was considering what would happen if all the people who can use their elements well went against him.. Doesn't erasing bending leave him vulnerable for a while btw?

im going with Aang...
Why, though?
@PrinceAragorn1: Aang is inherently and more poweful bender than they are. I dont think he would win in his regular form but with the AS he possesses bending abilitles that are many tims higher than the masters of this generaton. It might also be his downfall if he is too empathic
@Hyperlight: Hmm.. ok. So, who should be added to support the team? or should the project "capture the avatar" be abandoned as hopeless??

i think it would be a better fight if he didnt have access to the avatar state. it might be largely in the teams favor without it

You get the problem :)
@Stronger: Well, that's the point, actually. Can the masters of four elements together stop avatar somehow? Aang IS in the avatar state, that isn't end, it' where the discussion is starting :p

Simple question.
What can they possibly do to stop a guy with cosmic powers and super peak bending.If he wants he can take their bending away.
@Stronger: Er.. cosmic power?
So it isn't possible to beat avatar even if I add more peak benders to team 2, like toph, azula, ozai etc etc?
I'm kind of split here.
Aang is obviously very powerful, but the team is also VERY powerful and out-number.
I know quality is better than quantity, but the team has them both.
It can go either way. Avatar state has been defeated by Azula before, but I will say that he was an easy target.

Iroh is a beast, I would venture to say he was more powerful then Lord Ozai. Not to mention Boomie who is on par with Toph in terms of Earth-bending. I could see the team winning this if there is no Avatar State, and No Bending-killing.

The avatar state is the ultimate power capable of negating the effects of all bendings.I honestly think noone can beat him.
It is fueled with cosmic energy.

With no avatar state they are more than a match for him.

Where is it said that it's cosmic energy? I know no one can beat him, too. But I was thinking if he is outnumbered by the best benders we've seen, could he be beaten?

That stange Guru guy said that.The one with the onion banana juice.When he was about to open the last chakra.
I think he cannot.My opinion though.You are free to have a different.

Even if it was cosmic energy that could mean anything in the avatar universe but how much power it would take down the avatar state once it's going is pure guess work, even though they are some of the best benders they are not going up against just Aang they are going p against someone with the accumulated experience of all the past avatars as well as the unequaled raw power.
The team can't win this one.

No avatar state will be too one-sided.. it's actually about beating avatar, not aang..

I still think that Aang without the Avatar state would be quiet the formidable foe. He still has really good control over the four elements and was doing quiet well in his fight with Ozai before the Sozin's Comet came into play. I'm going with Team just because of the numbers, not easily though.

Quite so.. But he was doing ok with ozai, if you add three people nearly on his level, I don't think he can pull it off..

I never said he could pull it off. Not with Iroh and Boomie on Team 2. I just think its a little more hard fought then you do. Aang shouldn't be underestimated, he is the Avatar after all and master of all 4 elements. This will be one of the toughest battles the Dragon of the West and team have ever fought.

The battle will be hard, but aang will not have a great chance to win. That's what I'm saying. I am not underestimating him buddy. See it like this. With the avatar state, all they may manage to do is a hard battle. But very less chances of winning, from the other posts.. It's similar but opposite when he is not in avatar state..
