thats just the start we both know how it ended. Augus was stronger but asura was more skilled hence he was the winner

@sayo786: Re-correction: Asura started in Vajra 6 Arms to fight Augus and get a chance to defeat him, and even after that Augus was toying with him. Laughing at every Asura's fist. Then Asura becomes angrier/stronger, Augus release his sword and dominates Asura again.

But how Asura was able to defeat Augus? With a lucky shot. Before that Augus utterly dominated him. And IMO he wasn't even trully determined defeat Asura but played with him. It's similar to the Kenpachi vs Nnoitra situation, when Nnoitra cut his neck because Kenpachi wasn't serious at all ?

There's no need for anyone to argue in support of zaraki. Augus would humiliate him and solo his verse with ease.

Asura beating wyzen was caused by gathering so much kenetic energy that he lost every arm before sending a molten shockwave through wyzen. Kenpachi destroyed a country level meteor without even trying in shikai+eyepatch. It is not a stomp if kenny goes bankai... hell he easily overpowered gerard even after gerard got multiple boosts before and during.

Any form of asura berserk and onward would beat kenpachi, but base or average six armed would be tough. So therefire, shikai or bankai kenpachi should be a good match against augus... hell both are similar personality wise.

Not to mention kenpachi in base has yachiru to help

Hell i literally just played the game yesterday, i fought augus and just beat deus. So it would be a close fight, not a stomp in either favor. And i said asura stomps kenny in beserker and up. But base and normal 6 arms will have the fight of their life

Augus is physically stronger than Gongen Wyzen, who was as large as Gaea. He traded blows with Six-Armed Vajra Asura, who had years before defeated Gongen Wyzen.

Augus is fast enough to cross the distance between the Moon and Gaea in less than a minute, and was easily capable of keeping up with Asura in combat, who has been able to dodge Vlitra's lasers. He scales above BoS demigods (Asura, Yasha and Wyzen), who can casually do this in their base and weakest forms.

Augus tanked a punch from post episode 5 Base Asura, who previously obliterated Gonden Wyzen with a punch.

His odachi/nodachi "Wailing Dark" sword can extend to reach at least 12,800 kilometers in length, and could pierce through Gaea. With one slash, Augus cuts deep into the Moon's surface and causes a giant chunk of the ground to rise.
