I think Asura is physically strong enough to knock out Thanos... the problem is how will Asura deal with Thanos Energy Manipulation and Psionics.

I say Asura in round one, because of the much higher damage output. I don't see Thanos absorbing that much physical damage and yes, Asura is stronger than Thor and Hulk. Round two is all Thanos though, because of the 1 hour prep. Thanos could come up with something for sure, since he is Thanos after all. It would probably still not be easy.

(Thanos telepathy though might be a problem though)

I think Asura takes round 1.

But since Thanos has prep time for round 2 he should win in a hard fight.

Asura both rounds, unless Thanos gets a telepathic assault.

Thanos stomps. Giving that man an hour or prep is just too much. Thanos had survived a blackhole and only got a few cuts and was completely fine. He wins both rounds

Round 1: Asura wins due to greater and more monstrous strength also he has shown to being able to manipulate a form of kinetic energy that harnesses some form of friction and he has destroyed Wyzen in the form of a single punch also he has directed blasts, I`m sure he could get through Thanos`s shield but what makes Thanos a weapon is not his fists but what he can say and has to say which leads me into the conclusion of Round 2.

Round 2: Thanos is definitely the better one to be prepared in regards to prep he should be able to devise a strategy to defeat Asura but it would be very tough considering what Asura is capable of.

Does Asura go into god mode in this fight? Also does telepathy work on Asura?

Thanos should win both. He's killed supernova+ durability people with his punches, blasted Galactus on his ass, taken Galactus's blasts as well as all Odin's got, and he's far more intelligent and has tech AND cosmic power+epic mindraping that almost got Galactus even. Asura doesn't have what it takes to beat all that. with prep it's a stomp.

If Asura can't beat Surfer than how is he beating Thanos?!

Tell me Asura can do this because Asura is definitly going to have trouble getting near Thanos if all his going to do is melee.

No.. asura destroys stars with his punches with no problem. and multiple planets.

and thanos is not physically stronger than asura.. what gives thanos a winning here is his multiple set of abilities.

Does Asura have in mental resistance? If not, Thanos could win round 2 with ease.

@auction_sniper: Thanos can win on round 2 but not with ease he would probably encounter some difficulty but he will win eventually.
