I give Asura 6/10, both are scary when Bloodlusted and Superman has a rep of beating pretty much anyone when BL'd.

Although Asura killed a deity bigger then the Earth.

i just finished the game, and aside from punching that planet sized diety, asura doesnt have the feats to fight superman. yasha kicked his ass several times throughout the game also.

on top of that asura's durability isn;t up to par either, even if he was physically around the same level in terms of strength, supes could kill him in a few punches

I think Asura takes this because of his Mantra energy projection to be honest.

Again Clark smacks down a challenger who doesn't have the speed, the mobility, or the ranged attack power to contend with him.

Surely there are some good fights for Superman?

Because none of them have ever played asuras wrath and are riding the SA superman train so hard anytime he's mentioned here they assume it's a stomp.

Superman can carrier planets

Asura curbstomps. He did not only defeat Chakravartin but other powerful deities as well and always came out on top. He also treats his enemies as if they were just annoying obstacles that he had to throw out of his way or mountains that he needed to crush.

No idea who Asura is, but that video at the beginning was bad arse. Can anyone tell me, 100% truthfully if Kratos really deserves to be mentioned with Asura? Dont worry, since I dont know the character, ill stay out of the debate, to me, the fact that a character that is being talked up so much here being compared to Kratos seems to be the question demanding an answer.

@deaditegonzo: I am a huge fan of Kratos but I don`t think he is anywhere near Asura in regards to overall power. The similarities mostly come from an aspect of the characters themselves such as personality traits, character interactions and the overall pursuing quest in which an unwinding story of vengeance is brought forth. I think Asura would wreck Kratos if they were to actually fight or compete, but a team-up would be awesome!

blitz fight superman wins... or with superman blitz he can make another ASURA and let them fight......asura is almost robot.. u know superman have many robots like him :P... btw its rare to see superman on full bloodlust..superman always controling his strength..

You must not know much about Asura... Asura is a demigod and has tanked attacks that could destroy planets and has destroyed multiple stars and planets. He even becomes stronger with rage like the hulk and OP states their anger starts off high.

Asura should win fairly easily.

This isn't the PIS train that was SA Superman, this is Post-Crisis Supes.

In base form, Asura was a planet buster, and withstood planet-busting attacks.

In his Destructor form, Asura would stomp.

Superman wins but in a difficult battle. Pre-52 could win as New 52 still stands some chances. I'm not sure how this would work thought.

Since when was superman a BA to stand up to someone like asura?

Asura full rage mean he will be at his strongest form, that can destroy star easily, he stomp pre 52 superman and new 52 with more ease
