Irrelevant metaphor. The one time the Elder Gods did anything combat wise was amp Raiden against Shao Kahn and he still couldn't hurt him initially. That means the Elder Gods power up doesn't even give a person better output than a low-level metahuman. And when they needed to kill of the Combatants they used an elaborate plan to trick them into killing each other, so evidently these omnipotents aren't capable of killing maybe a couple hundred street levelers.

@leo-343: Mainly because of Raiden, Shinnok, and maybe Shao kahn. Raiden is only in his physical form when in mortal kombat tournaments, otherwise he is a being literally made out of lighting, and cannot be harmed by a mortal. And Shinnok could be an elder god, and even if we werent using that version of him, he could sit back and resurrect anyone that dies in this battle. And dont forget that shao kahn tanked a blast of lightning from raiden and the elder gods, and was tickled by it. Sub zeros a non factor in this battle, but the amulet can be used to seal away Asura.

How the fridge is this fair?

@highaccuser: That only shows how strong shao kahn is, not how weak the elder gods are. And the elder gods do have feats. Defeating the one being, who comprised all of known reality, and created all 6 realms. also, in shinnoks ending, the one beings true power was shown. Once he was awaken, he devoured the elder gods, the realms, and all of reality. So please tell me how Asura will destroy 4 omnipotent deities, and another universal+ level omnipotent who has control over time/space and all of reality.

Shao Kahn had his chest cavity punched through by Liu Kang. He's not that tough.

Beating the One Being doesn't really help given that it doesn't prove they have the durability to actually tank a single attack from Asura. And like I said, these guys need help to take down an army of street levelers.

I wish people would stop saying "solo the verse." Even if it's true, it's irrelevant and brings in beings that aren't even in the battle.

@highaccuser: Elder gods are immortal, so they obviously wont be taken out, durability doesnt matter. And you cant "hurt" or "destroy" the one being, he is the realms, and all of reality itself. And if he is awaken he chooses whether it exists or not. The one being will easily destroy the entire universe Asura is in and be done.

I used to consider myself an mk fan before stuff like this. Asura punches everyone's heads clean off.
