Asura vs Superman.
Both on their strongest form/state, who would win?
Ok........ how is Superman going to win here?
so this is Superman Gold million vs Asura the Destroyer?
@Dredeuced: Yea but asura killed the god of his universe and he wasn't even at full power and Doomsday killed Superman so what chance does Superman really have??????

Most powerful Superman is Superman Thoughtbot whose powerscale is greatly above Gold Superman Prime.

Is that god a true omnipotent or even a multiversal powerhouse? Because the two most powerful Superman incarnations are either nigh omnipotent or multiversal. Not that I'm challenging your statement. It's just that I haven't played Asura's Wrath.
@BlueComet: Quick question, can any version of Superman defeat Chakravartin (the god of Asura's universe)?
Anyways Cosmic Armor Superman got baddly beat up at the end of the fight with Mandarkk and died and Mandarkk would not last a second against Chakravartin so Asura takes this very easily.
@Proxicide: Feat. Just One. He defeated Mandrakk who was a threat to the multiversal guardians, the Monitors. The Monitors, dare I say, were existing outside that of the multiverse and saw the multiverse as a simple germ. And that single feat was more than any feat Superman Prime has ever shown.
he's not omnipotent, or at least he didn't seem to be and being multiversal is a hard thing to judge as the Asura's Wrath universe isn't a multiverse but he is a universal threat and the being from which all life stems from@JackKnight said:

Superman should win but Asura can win also.

Asura, the destructor isn't going down easily even against the most powerful version of Superman, but yes, Superman is winning this. A more even fight would be SA Superman vs Asura, the destructor.
How would that be even? SA Superman was breaking the universe by flying around like a dick.

How was Chakravartin the TOAA of the Asura's Wrath universe? He clearly wasn't omnipotent. There's really no reason to believe that Thought Robot wouldn't smash Chakravartin, pretty easily infact.

Asura would have the ability to win if it wasn't using the strongest, or even top 3, forms of Superman.

That was in the 90's, and is far from the most powerful incarnation of Superman, in fact it's one of his weaker incarnations. Chakravartin is pretty low-tier compared to a lot of abstracts, or even reality warpers in comics.

He wasn't "breaking the universe" he was breaking the barrier between Earth and Heaven. Asura, The Destructor was destroying solar systems and giant stars like they were nothing.

You that like Chakravartin is TOOA when he's no where near as powerful and yes, Superman could beat him.

We have a search function now which can be used to search for past battles, for more information on this please see the battle forum FAQ . If you want to see who would win a fight, check if we’ve already discussed it. If we have and you have something to say about the outcome that’s been reached, don’t be afraid to bump the thread, but don’t make a new one when one already exists. Our search tool should give you everything you need, but if for some reason it doesn’t, the recap thread is another place you can look for old fights and Google can be used to search CV. Dupe threads will be locked.

@spetsnaz_gru: are you talking about the Over-Monitor? Because that's just a piece of paper.
Over Monitor or Primal Monitor or whatever was an abstract sh*t that has no real description. But I was talking about its children; the monitors.
@Jonny_Anonymous said:
@spetsnaz_gru: the Over-Monitor was a meta way of describing the page the comic was printed on
So Marvel goes all semi-breakin the 4th wall with saying TOAA was a writer then DC does the same thing with the Over Monitor as the paper?

I'm pretty sure the over monitor is supposed to be us, the readers.

Well, You can't classify Gods (By God I mean complete God like ToAA) on Universal/Multiversal scale.. Not all companies use it..
@BlueComet: People have said that Chakravartin can solo the Marvel universe and Asura wasn't that full power when he killed the gods of his game and even if Superman Thought Robot can copy Asura's powers I still think he is to much for Superman to handle Asura's anger is just that great.
Besides Superman Thought Robot sucks any way IMO and is nowhere near as powerful as people say he is.
Heres the final episode of Asura's Warth so you can see what I mean about Asura's power
@BlueComet: Sorry mite, I don't really want to argue with people but I do what to say this, if Superman Prime 1 million and the Thought Robot can beat Asura then who else can? I mean people actually complain that regular Superman is overpowerd? I mean Asura took out someone who was bigger than a planet with just a few punches and wasn't even full when he killed the gods in his universe so if Superman Prime 1 million and the Thought Robot can beat him then who else can!!!!!!!!!!
I'm assuming you don't know that the strongest form of Superman is basicly God. (Don't use the excuse that Asura kills Gods) I'm going to assume that you mean About Pre Crisis strength. Asura would put up a good fight but in the end Superman is Superman and he wins. I could see any other version of Superman getting blown to bits by Asura's punches but any hacked Supes would whoop him.
Well, strong as supes is, no version of his even goes close to ToAA.. Asura is nearly on that level, or higher (if it exists) so giving it to asura..
@BlueComet: Well that best Chakravartin was on par with The Lving Tibunal and The Lving Tibunal would stomp both Superman Prime 1 million and the Thought Robot.
Asura has infinite rage meaning he probably has infinite forms each stronger then the last. So his strongest form can destroy galaxies with a punch.
You guys need to play or at least watch the walkthroughs for Asura's Wrath. The guy killed a God 2-3 times the size of a planet in one punch. (In one of his weaker forms.) And as stated above Asura rage is infinite. Which means his power is infinite. Sense Asura gets his power from his rage. And Asura not only killed those gods in his universe. But he also killed the Creator of his universe as well. Who was on Living Tribunal level. The only way Supes could actually stop Asura is if he managed to punch him in half. Which probably would not happen considering all of the damage he has taken and survived through. Not to mention Supes would have to deal with freaking Asura the Destroyer. Who eats Suns, planets, and stars for breakfast.
