Ash Williams vs Buffy Summers

Both have their usual gear. Ash has his boomstick and chainsaw hand, Buffy has...stakes?
Fight to the, probably, comical death.

Will also have Deadites and Vampires attacking every now and then.

I personally think Ash wins.

Buffy is damn impressive, but when giving her stakes? Don't know what she'd exactly do. Pretty sure he could move out of the way if she throws them at her. If she runs in, pretty sure that boomstick is going to come in handy. Given the fact Ash can just shoot behind him when someone is running at him [I.e. Army Of Darkness], I don't think she'd get the sneak on him.

I give it to Ash, 7/10. However, this battle could take another turn. Ash and Buffy both fight off the vampires and deadites, and then have a war of love on a softer battlefield. Whoever wakes up first the night after wins.

Starting distance is the most important factor of this fight. If it's really close, Buffy closes the gap before Ash reacts and beats him into oblivion, if there is a good distance between them, he could shoot her...though, she has been shown to dodge bullets in the comics.

In the end, I give it to Buffy for the majority

Pretty much how I was thinking with the endign, didn't know there was any art of it.

Just to play the advocate here, I think Ash has some pretty good reaction time. To be fair though, my knowledge on Buffy comics is kinda limited, I only own like five or six. Good stuff.

Absolutely love Hack/Slash. I have a few team up issues. Seems like Hack/Slash is always good with horror team ups. There was even a short with Dexter vs Jason vs Hack/Slash.

Couldnt superhuman strength buffy just whip the stake faster than ash can react to? Buffy has been shown dodging bullets........except that one time she got a belly full from warren (pis) im gonna say the slayer.

Lmao. I don't know. I don't think this would be a stomp or an easy fight for either.

I mean, like I said. In different comics, Ash has reacted to alot of things that could be considered "fast". He's taken on alot of "magical" beings as well. Dodged a few machette throws from Jason, who I believe has super strength. Not saying that's faster than bullets by any means. I think it'd come down to hand to hand. If it's hand to hand, I believe Buffy takes it. However, if Buffy runs out of stakes, I believe one good shot could make it. Or one good swing.

Honestly, this is a hard battle for me. I like both characters, Ash a bit more, but I also do know Buffy has some damn good feats. They both do.

Let's just say it ends in a good night for both of them.

Ash. He faced off with Freddy and Jason. And zombie Howard the Duck. And Dracula. And Frankenstein. And the Wolf Man. And the Mummy. And Darkman. And survived being thrown through a wall. And a lot of other stuff I'm too lazy to put down.

Ashe doesn't really fight well. He sort of endures punishment and comes out on top through a tough slog.

Buffy is too strong and skilled for him to try to endure her attacks.
