Arrowverse/MCU Street Level Tournament - FULL

Interested in starting up a tournament using street levelers from the Arrowverse and MCU. The basic structure of the tournament will be:

• 16 teams, single elimination (can be double if you guys want)
• Debates will consist of an opener, 2-3 middle posts, and a closing statement
• Each participant will be allowed to spend 15 total points on characters to build their teams
• Perks can also be purchased (listed at the bottom) to replace or enhance a character and their abilities

The basic rules for the tournament are as follows:

• All characters are morals on/in-character
• All are equipped with their standard equipment and weaponry
• Assume perfect chemistry between teammates
• The fights will take place in a large, multi-story abandoned warehouse with significant numbers of boxes and other debris to utilize as cover. Also, there will be a significant amount of airspace to allow for the flight capabilities of some of the characters
• All fights are to the death or prolonged incapacitation
• Teams will start out approximately 25 yards apart and visible, but with cover close by
• No prep time or prior knowledge of opponents or battlefield unless purchased as a perk
• Each character can be selected by a maximum of one participant; perks can be purchased by as many participants as desired (i.e. If two people want to purchase the blood-lust perk, then they are allowed to do that. However, if two people want to use Captain America, the person who asked first will be the one who is allowed to use him.)

@nfactor1995: Any chance we can get a price reduction on Luke Cage? I probably should have brought this up when you first asked for my thoughts on the prices, I'm sorry. But I want him on my team, but with his lack of actual fights, a 10 is asking too much. I think a 7 would definitely be more fitting for him, since he has nothing to offer besides on-paper strength and durability feats, and then a single fight against Jessica that he technically lost.

@flash1812: Star Lord has some incredible weaponry (tons of gadgets in his standard equipment), the power of flight, and he was one-shotting Kree soldiers who are far above almost everyone here in physicals. I think 12 is fair considering how this point system is set up man, what with his flight and weaponry.

@nickzambuto: On second thought however, why do you think Cage is less than a 10? The fact that he can throw people effortlessly around a room (and I do mean effortlessly, his facial expressions hardly changed and he just looked slightly annoyed that there were 6 people trying to kill him) and has unbreakable skin should put him in the top tiers in the MCU/Arrowverse street level rankings, at least I think. Can you explain?

@flash1812: I mean, the silencer will muffle the guns quite a bit, but it's not like they will be totally silent considering they are energy based. And sorry, I don't know what the Hadron Enforcer is (not necessarily saying no, but can you explain what is was?)

@justicethorpsylocke: That adds up to 16 points man. You could switch out blood-lust for one of the 2 point perks to get to 15?

Pretty sure Hadron Enforcer was the big gun Rocket made that could bust moons, the one that took the Gem outta the hammer.

@flash1812: Well that's not in his standard gear so I don't think so.

And I think there's been a misunderstanding here and I should have clarified in the point system thread regarding the silencers. What I was intending that to be is like gun silencers that actually exist and simply muffle the sound of a gunshot, not eliminate the sound completely. The point would be that it would make it simply more difficult to locate the shooter, not utterly impossible. If it's going to completely and utterly silence the sound of a gunshot then I would have to increase the points it costs because that's a VERY powerful tool to have. Heck, nobody would even know they were getting shot at until the bullets struck around them and they would have no idea where the bullets were coming from. More like a 5-6 point perk rather than a 2. So that's what I meant when I said gun silencers.

@flash1812: Also you would only be able to have Star Lord and blood-lust if that's what you want, to get to 15 points.

Also, this is for everyone. The tournament has completely filled up, but it seems like there is still interest. Should I expand the number of spots open so more people can participate or just cut it off at 16 teams?
