oh cus you know what Arkillo is capable of, you've actually seen his feats right, right? I'll bet money that you haven't got a clue what Arkillo is capable of...what is Ben gonna do when he has his ring on, what is Johnny gonna do huh, I bet you think Reeds gonna find a penny an a paperclip along the way and make some ultimate nullifier type weapon out the blue huh...Sue has fears, he will play on them and when she sees her team go down like dominoes she will succumb to her fear and fall .... Arkillo has fought Kyle Rayner, beat him down. Stalemated Kilowog who has gone toe to toe with Superman, Arkillo was beaten by Kilowog dropping an aircraft carrier on him an trapping him, he wasn't knocked out like Sentry was. Alternatively, Arkillo has gone up against one of Superman's bigger threats, Mongul who had a power ring as well. They were almost equal although Mongul won in the end, Mongul is better trained, stronger and more durable than Arkillo anyway so no wonder he lost there...too bad for the Fantastic Four and especially Thing, that there is NO ONE as strong as Superman,Kyle, Kilowog or Mongul there to save their asses. Arkillo would one shot Johnny and pound Ben to dust with no effort at all, Reed is about as useless as it gets and Sue is the only one who even stands a chance but unless she's going around bustin up celestials on a regular basis, she isn't winning here.

Round 2: depending if the Fantastic 4 are allowed prep, if they are then they win, if not then Arkillo.

Superman level beings who were clearly jobbing, get real, he has trouble with Namor and She-Hulk .... as for Superman .... you asked for it....

Arkillo goes head to head with Kilowog and considers him his rival .... Thing isn't going to win H2H .... the Fantastic Four aren't going to win at all .....

Fantastic Four ignorance is high in this thread...

Thing is consistently shown as one of the greatest powerhouses in the Marvel universe. Even where he lacks the strength (over 100 tons) and durability, he makes up for it in heart. The Thing has gone toe to toe with virtually every big hitter in the Marvel universe (including the Hulk multiple times, of which I know of no concrete winner declared in an occasion). You know, the same Hulk who was just voted as overwhelmingly defeating Arkillo in the recent poll, with a ring.

Arkillo is awesome. He's a badass with great strength and ability. He has done nothing to show me he would finish off the Thing (who is rarely KOed in the first place). I've seen nothing to show me he has the same strength level as Ben, especially without his ring. So he punched Superman once and he flew through space (you know, where there is no gravity). Big deal. He fought Mongul and had a good showing. He also got his tongue ripped out. Ben takes the fight, especially if Arkillo is without the ring.

I don't know how to even fathom the idea that people think one Lantern (of any type) would defeat the Fantastic Four, who regularly deal with opponents of equal or far greater power. The Fantastic Four protect the universe (and multiverse) much like the GLC does against major crises... except it's just the four of them. Anyone who thinks Arkillo takes them all out just has an extreme bias, no knowledge of the FF whatsoever, or simply dislikes the Fantastic Four.

So basically, Round one is somewhat debatable. I'd give Thing 10/10. I've seen nothing to show Arkillo having better strength, durability or fighting ability than Thing.

Round 2 is a stomp for the FF. If you made an Arkillo vs the Fantastic Four thread, I would lock it for spite.

A better Round 2 would be Arkillo with the ring. At least that might give him some advantages in the fight.

Too bad you can't prove it .... I can say Hyperion has better feats than thing especially since he stalemated Gladiator who'd flip Ben like a pancake, She-Hulk did, Hulk always does .... Superman however has trouble fighting elite Lantern's regularly, like how he had trouble with John Stewart, Hal Jordan, Sinestro etc ... Kilowog is up there with them and is physically stronger than they are as he focuses most of his power towards physical assault ... Arkillo is the exact same way for the most part and has shown to be a physical equal to Kilowog. Superman wasn't really trying to fight, he was trying to reason, but none the less, he wouldn't get knocked back and stepped on if Kilowog wasn't strong enough to do the job. Arkillo has done the same to Kilowog and was doing the same to Mongul but wasn't strong enough in the end cus Mongul is on a slightly higher level .... So no, it doesn't work both ways, but nice to see just how well you can debate...you could be president one day.
