Ares is impressive, for a movie-version...i'm ye to see the Thor movie, tho.

i'll see if i can see the Thor movie in some site, and comment tomorrow.

Also Thor's fight's and level of opponents seems much more impressive. Unless I am missing something.

i just rewatched the ares scenes to refresh my memories and i think i'll go with thor..... he simply had more time to shine and gathered slightly more feats..... it should be a fight though...... ares seems to be more durable than he is strong, so he would probably be able to take quite a lot of damage...... but i don't know if he can truly harm thor...... both are skilled...... ares might have a speed advantage...... it's warrior vs assassin, really with the warrior being more established

Ares fell almost 300 ft unharmed, took stone breaking to his face unharmed and got hit by a god crafted weapon and got up again. Also he created big shockwaves when he punched Zeus.

Kevin Sorbo Hercules would do the same thing when he punched TV Ares. He's only a 35+ tonner.

Thor's Battle was creating mass destruction. Not to mention his Hammer is so fast, Thor Called it in from Outer Space and it came back to him in mere moments. Meaning if he throws it, Ares ain't dodging it.

Thor. I think he may have moderate difficulty if he plays around, but if he gets serious, he destroys.
