Ares vs. Super Skrull
K'Lrt would spite-stomp Ares. He has the strength & durability of Thing, the stretchiness & resilience of Mr. Fantastic, manifestation & manipulation of fire, as well as the ability to fly at ultra-sonic speeds like the Human Torch, the ability to make himself or anything else invisible & to create force fields of nearly any shape & size like Invisible Woman. He also has the same shape-shifting ability that every skrull has, except his is augmented by his ability to stretch as much as Mr. Fantastic does. He also has one little known power that he didn't get from the fantastic four - Hypnotism (dependent upon eye contact) . Ares is an impressive fighter, but K'Lrt just has too many tricks up his sleeve. Super strength and an awsome battle axe are just not enough to deal with the Super Skrull. K'Lrt could fight the whole battle invisible, and even if Ares could somehow magically get past his force fields (& some how prevent him from just erecting another one) he's still up against a guy who's body is as nearly indestructible as the Thing's & at the same time, as shock-absorbent & resilient as Mr. Fantastic's . . .plus, he'll probably also be on fire, burning at temperatures somewhere just below super-nova. Also, any damage Ares could manage to inflict, K'Lrt could just throw up a force field to buy himself the few seconds he needs to focus on healing the wound - a nifty shape-shifting trick he's demonstrated a time or two, and one that only a very skilled skrull can perform. Its kinda like having a healing factor, except he has to concentrate to make it happen, it doesn't happen automatically. Super Skrull's history in the Marvel universe has shown us that it usually requires a team effort to take him down, & he always puts up a good fight. To take him on solo is, in general, a pretty tall order, even for a bad-ass like Ares. SS handles him with little difficulty.
