Also Ares is a 75 tonner compared to Balder's 50 ton strength. 
Also based on their positions Ares should be a better fighter, not to mention almost certianly more experienced in combat.

I only remebered this fight was done becuase it was made last week.  
I guess a repeat thread is understandable under that circumstance.

Combat wise close call but Ares is the image of war, he takes this.

Balder is outclassed physically, and some of his more recent showings suggest that he's nowhere near as skilled as Ares.

Nice scans...but Ares still wins.Balder is basically the Asgardian Ares..he's just much weaker and less durable.He's probably smarter too but I don't think it's going to hurt.

 I'll forgive

Balder is a highly skilled fighter, don't get me wrong, but he recently got manhandled by 2-3 random Asgardians wielding nothing but traditional swords. William was the one who actually saved him and swung the fight back in their favor. Balder shouldn't be compared to Ares based on one high-end bullet-timing feat.

balder is awesome fighter but still he is the god of light are the god of war well jajaja thats for the win

Ares is a genius (Though having normal intellect Ares' military tactical skills are at genius-level) & prep as well Ares stomps him as he prepped for the siege of Asgard .

Ares sucks but he beats Balder.

Even though they seemingly matched each other in a swordfight, Ares should be more than capable of stomping him.
