I've just seen some scans of Hercules' fight with Superman in another thread - and he couldn't even harm him properly, while he got beaten quite hard.

If you're referring to the encounter where Superman of Earth One and Kingdom Come Superman attempted to calm down Hercules and he proceeded to elbow Superman in the face and then sucker punch him into a wall, that's not exactly a knock out nor is it even close.

A knockout is as simple as it gets, the character getting knocked out. Here we have the situation in which Superman interacts with Hercules and no where is it shown that Superman is knocked out aside from being knocked away from the battle. As I stated before, it's fair to note that Superman refused to fight back even after Hercules threw the first blow and was sucker punched following the initial hit. Even afterwards, we have Superman returning quickly to catch Hercules after KC Superman's backhand and blitz him into a statue.

So truthfully, there is absolutely no evidence of Superman being knocked out nor is he even really hurt from the hits that Hercules tossed at him aside from the bloody nose received from a surprise hit.

DC Ares, this is rather spite tbh. He is way above these two.

@deranged_midget: To be honest, i haven't read this issue, i just saw the scan where looks like Hercules knocks Superman out, however let's not expand too much, let's get back to the topic, what do you think who wins ?

Fair enough. In regards to the battle, I'm pretty sure Marvel's Ares doesn't stand a chance against DC's heaviest hitters, although he did toss around with Marvel Hercules for a bit but was slaughtered by Sentry. I'm not really sure since DC Hercules is relatively lacking in a lot of consistent feats for me to make a fair assessment.

@retconcrisis: I don't know, Ares (DC) got beaten by Wonder Woman a lot of times, I think Ares(marvel) and Hercules would give Ares (DC) a run for his money.

@zeroplus: DC Ares only gets beaten by WW due to plot getting involved and the hero needing to win. Really Ares > WW.

Ares is already more powerful than all of the Olympian Gods combined (stated by both Zeus and Wonder Woman). He should have no problem with these two.

DC Ares killed Highfather and is implied to be more powerful than DC Zeus. He should win comfortably here.

DC Ares has a pretty comfortable victory, from what I know. DC Hercules should get plainly stomped and Marvel Ares can't contest with his DC counterpart either.
