Good fight. Seeing as Cap is inside Warren won't be able to attack from distance. He'll have to go up close and take Cap face to face. Considering Caps ability with his shield, fighting skills and resourcefulness I can see him taking this one but it won't be easy.
Well, Steve has the reaction/battle speed feats to counter any of Warren's projectiles I would think. Also to redirect or block any diving wing attacks... I'm seeing Warren growing impatient since he is blood lusted and coming down to ground level, trying to get in close for a dismemberment/decapitation. Steve would then use the appropriate counters and break Warren down at the limbs, then perhaps off with the bird man's head...
Or maybe I'm giving Cap his usual huge amount of fanboy respect...lol

@Edgeworth_11: His healing factor is good but it is not Wolverines level by a longshot unless I'm very much mistaken. Any scans/feats to show otherwise?

Really? I always thought they were more like throwing knives, nothing that would destroy a huge marble/stone structure? Or are they charged in some way?
@Edgeworth_11: Thats not really an example of his healing factor. He had his feather wings ripped off as Angel and was KO'd on the floor. He was unconscious for a while and then began to transform into Archangel. He was in such pain that Wolverine and Warpath where having trouble holding him down and X-23 even commented he was in such pain he could kill himself. That was a transformation not healing power.
Also I've never seen anything from his wings which suggest they can destroy a building. The feathers he shoots are dangerous but knock down the Statue of Liberty? I doubt it.

There was that one time he flew straight through the skull of some ginormous dinosaur-like monster. I'm trying to find a scan of it...
Cap is fast enough to Parry his dive attacks, His by far skilled enough to hit him with his shield, If he can Bounce if off 3 Trees and hit a person, he can hit Archangel i can imagine.
Warren has to get inside to hurt him, and unless im missing something on him, Cap is the Better fighter and Tactician. He has shown to dodge bullets, so i assume he can dodge his Projectiles

Even for someone as strong as Cap, it's pretty tough to 'parry' something that weighs 200+ pounds and is flying at you at speeds that comic panels usually depict as blurs.

That's still pretty chancy. Warren is well-known for being one of the most agile flyers in the Marvel U. On top of that, I believe his wings are easily capable of shielding him from Cap's shield if it is used as a projectile.

Warren can fling dozens of projectiles simultaneously in a giant barrage. If he does that, Cap will have to have his shield with him to avoid getting hit.

Like I said before, Warren is one of the very most agile flyers in the Marvel world. He doesn't get thrown around easily.
an example of warrens healing factor is in X-force (not uncanny x force) logan, to get warren to focus on the job at hand, stabbed him through his back, through his chest and warren was just shocked that logan stabbed him and didnt seem to be in any pain at all as in the next panel he is seen trying to control surge who's powers were going haywire because she was infected with the legacy virus.
I go with warren for the win. he'd chop the statue in half and force cap out.

To be honest, I haven't even picked a side in this fight. I don't think I've seen enough of Archangel's feats to really be confident about who wins.
Even if Cap is forced out in the open to confront Arch. What feats does Arch have to justify tagging Cap with his razor feather wing, things? I somehow doubt these projectiles are harder to keep track of than bullets. Which Cap made a career out of dodging, deflecting, etc. It what then, becomes a stalemate? Because Cap ain't gonna get tired or fatigued because of the serum. From my knowledge Cap has better accuracy feats throwing his shield than Warren does with his wings.
I am leaning more toward Cap due to having a better tactical acumen than Warren. I can see Cap having a more clean win if he could lure Archangel inside more so than outside where a bloodlusted Warren can take advantage of his top flight speeds, and aerial maneuverability. I think he is fast and agile enough in the air to evade Cap's shield throws.
