The match is close but Thing has and will fight dirty to win while Aquaman wouldn't(at least the last time I saw his character which was admittedly a while back).

New 52 Aquaman punching through an object similar to The Thing, showcasing his punching prowess and durability:
This.
@ultrastarkiller: Those scans definitely brings up the question to a controversial fight between the two for sure. Am I right?

That you are. His trident also makes this fight easier.

But what if his trident is removed.. What do you think the outcome will be then?

It will be even closer but Aquaman still wins.
New 52 Arthur has pretty good strength feats...but even though Grimm is stated to be weaker, I think he has better striking power feats, as for speed, outside of water, Arthur has like no combat speed feats, his durability feats do not match Ben's at all, tanking lightning, explosions, high falls, lasers, sharp and pointies .... Ben has done it all with even better success .... I would give Pre-52 Orin the win in a heartbeat since he has every feat he needs to be superior to Ben (including a few more powers that make him exceptionally dangerous), but the new 52 Aquaman is still green, soft and frankly outside of good storytelling, weak.....that cruise ship he lifted was the best I've seen from him...it ain't enough to beat ole blue eyes.
@raw_material: You've done a lot of Aquaman threads lately.

Lol, what can I say?!
I honestly think this could go either depending on how they play their cards. Tipping a cruise ship is all fine and dandy, and I understand Arthur has the speed advantage, but the Thing has grown a lot in power and durability over the years and he is one of the more skilled bricks in Marvel. In recent years he's gotten some solid blows on opponents that were vastly stronger than him like WWH and Juggalossus, and despite the outcomes of both fights, I think both would beat Orin in h2h rather handily. Thing has basically grown to the point he can virtually stalemate a freshly hydrated Namor, and I'm not talking about their A vs X battle where Namor lost, that was stupid. Their second fight, albeit brief, was something I found much more believable given the growth of the Thing and stagnant position of Namor.
But, what Orin lacks in durability, he makes up in being strong himself and has the speed edge. The environment here is definitely in favor of Aquaman and the ace in the hole Orin needs to turn the tide, but if Thing can press the advantage and keep out of the water's range, I feel he can steal the slight majority. His durability, skill, and power outside of the water seem enough to take Orin.
I don't know about this. As a fan of both, I'd have to say people may be overestimating Arthur's abilties here. Sure, he is rather strong, has some incredible speed feats (mostly in water) and his strength and durability allows him to hang with the best of DC's powerhouses, but that alone isn't enough all the time. His Trident will be an advantage though, giving him some range and superior striking ability. Having seen Arthur tank Diana's hits and land one on Clark, albeit and unexpected shot, which sent him flying is proof enough that he can definitely go toe-to-toe with Ben.
In terms of skill, it's hard to truly determine this. Ben is known for being a brawler and has reputation for it. He consistently tango's with the likes of the Hulks and comes out laughing. Arthur on the other hand hasn't necessarily displayed any real level of skill, besides with his trident but he can definitely throw a punch.
....
The next Viner Weekly fight is Monday with these 2. In H2H Thing might win.In the coming match AM will have his trident which is one sided.

@god_spawn: Lol, nice scans. I love it!
I love both characters, honestly......new-52 Aquaman has impressive strength, speed and leaping skills...no doubt about it....but the Thing has sufficient strength to win, and still has superior battle/combat skills, as well as far greater durability. As long as Arthur does not have the Trident, this battle could go either way, although if the Things grabs him and simply pounds on him repeatedly, Arthur doesn't have the durability to handle that , IMHO. However, if Arthur sticks to "hit & run", and keeps moving & leaping around and resorts to throwing stuff, then he will win. Entirely depends on the scenario. And the Thing has been in a virtual tie with Namor for much of his career, actually, but currently, Namor is no match for Ben on land; in water is a different issue, though.
@sync1: If he grabbed him, he probably could.
In a straight slugfest?
I'm going with Grimm

and this
Also people, can you please post feats for both characters, instead of just one? Like making Aquaman break the ocean floor...even though he's underwater....his advantage. Or when it's pouring down rain?

many of the scans work...not all, though.
