Aquaman is too fast for Midnighter? That's interesting. Support?

What use does Aquaman have for his telepathy against Midnighter? I know it's been used in some funky ways every now and then, but for the most part it's for getting fish to do what he wants. I don't see Aquaman controlling Midnighter, reading his mind, or having the skill to separate his mind from his combat computer, so I'm not sure how useful the telepathy would be.

Midnighter shoves a nuke in Aquaman's face and teleports to safety.
