Megalodons
Aquaman can lift/press over 10,000 tons. He also has enhanced reaction time and can swim faster than the Megaladons.
Hmmm... I love Megaladons. Their actual size might be a disadvantage here. I read somewhere that a Great White could swim inside the fully extended mouth of a Megaladon. If that's true Aquaman could leisurely swim into any given Megaladon and punch them to death from within. He'd theoretically have the space to do something like that leisurely more or less. That's beyond the superstrength.
Aquaman could prowl through those sharks like a hot knife through butter, in few hours, 500 of them will be served in Chinese restaurant.
Aquaman loves the ocean and wouldn't be able to bring himself to kill of a species (plus it would kill his rep with the other sea creatures) so he takes a dive for the greater good.

Their large size puts them at a disadvantage against the more mobile Aquaman. Even on the off-chance that one swallows Aquaman, he'd be able to rip himself out without a problem. While 500 might be a tiresome amount for Arthur to fight through, I don't doubt that he'd tear them all apart.
How durable is New 52 Aqua Man?
He can tank a direct blow to the face by the 100-tonner Wonder Woman, survive volcanic temperatures underwater, and sustain multiple hits from Orm's scepter lightning strikes - which were powerful enough to knock out both Superman and Wonder Woman. His skin can take direct shots from rifles and lasers.

So that is why he is in the inner circle now?
Hmm, Aquaman needs to be bloodlusted with morals off if we want this battle to happen. That being said, if he was, Aquaman would have the 3 simple S's of superpowers to win; superhuman speed, strength, and stamina (say that one 10x fast). However, in the early issues of New 52 Aquaman, he has been known (at a younger age of his life) to lack the agility to maneuver around a great white shark, although he has showcased his agility when he was able to dodge Black Manta's heat blasts and also in combat.
If one of those sharks get a hold of him though, all of them are gonna join in, thus making him straight fish food.
Inner Circle? I don't follow. Do you mean the Big 7? If you do, he's always been part of the original League.

He does have pretty tough skin due to his atlantean physiology, but not durable enough to tank sharp objects with immense force and speed, for example the jaw pressure of a great white shark.

In the JLA animated movies, Only Batman, Supes, WW, GL, MMH, and FLASH plus the addition of Cyborg. Aquaman is just a minor character, especially in JLA DOOM.
Can I ask you something, because obviously, I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to AM, who is more powerful Pre-Reboot or New 52?
@momo111191: Actually Aquaman has no problem kicking the ass of any sea dwellers who raise a hand to him. Its a criminal offense to attack your monarch in any land. Atlantis is no different. Also, Aquaman not being heavily featured in animated movies means nothing. He has been around since 1941, over 70 years. Aquaman has always been A list, regardless of ridicule.
Well that's only in the animated versions, in terms of the comic-verse - Aquaman has always been a founding member of the League since its inception, both pre-52 and nu-52.
In terms of pure strength, the general consensus seems to be pre-52 Aquaman, who has better high-end feats. Overall, most people seem to agree that pre-52 Aquaman is stronger.

How useful is he in the JLA in non water related crisis, CIS/PIS OFF?
Off topic, is he as annoying as NAMOR?
He's of plenty use. Sure, in arid areas such as a desert he isn't much good. But not everyone can work everywhere. Contrary to popular belief, he doesn't need to hop in the water ever few hours or so. Aquaman is more than capable of tolding his own in the JL. He wouldn't have remained a founding member this long if he was worthless.
Even out of water, Aquaman's been pretty useful in the League. His telepathy is strong enough to give a brain seizure to a White Martian, as well as handle Despero (with Martian Manhunter's aid). He was able to solo a group of light-based villains solely by turning off the lights (his eyes can see at 6000 fathoms). He easily defeated Power Ring (the Earth 3 counterpart of GL) just by spearing his hand and knocking him out with a single punch. He had enough strength to manually divert the water pumps in the Watchtower - a feat that even Superman himself expressed amazement at.
Not really, he was more of a badass, but never as arrogant and unhelpful as Namor. Although throughout the 90s, he was sort of portrayed as the angry Atlantean annoyed with surface-worlders etc.

Thanks for the info man, I was under the impression that he is one of the weakest member, :)
No problem, man, always glad to help. Yeah, the general stigma associated with pre-52 Aquaman was that he was useless, but really, he was quite a capable Leaguer.

He acutally is one of the weaker memebers of the league. BUt that does not mean he is not useful and is powerful. I mean when compared to power houses like superman, wonder woman and green lantern he is kinda weaker. BUt that does not mean too much, I mean look at batman lol
I think one good bite from those big sharks would make him good shark food.
By the way that scan that Megalodon is only 13 meters long is wrong. They can grow over 30-50 meters.

To be fair, everyone has their uses and strengths/weaknesses,and some people specialize in some areas more than others and can come in handy (actually giving the team more to offer than other members). For example,Black Widow is not as strong as the likes of Thor or anywhere near as powerful, but she is one of the best spies and information-gatherers in comics, and she is very useful for stealth missions. Hawkeye is useful for providing cover fire, stealth, scouting, etc. Falcon is useful for scouting, providing cover fire, etc.
