Aquaman runs the gauntlet

All rounds are no morals death matches with no prep

Unless specified all fights take place on an open field after he's just came out of the water.

Aquaman has his harpoon hand and his trident if either of his weapons are broken he gets a replacement during the break. Unless specified all opponents have standard equipment.

Arthur gets 8 hours break between rounds with medical care with full access to water ( I'm not sure if Aquaman has a healing factor if he does for this gauntlet he heals at normal human speed).

How long does he Last?

Round 1

VS Doctor Octopus & The Lizard

Round 2

VS Thing at the beach. Aquaman is not allowed to take thing into the water but he may go in and out of the water as he pleases.

Round 3

VS Angel (No Archangel) & Beast & Electro

Round 4

VS Johnny Sorrow

Round 5

VS Everybody from previous fights besides Sorrow but Aquaman has his water hand.

@Transmetal: i'd give round 2 to Aquaman he can go in and out of the water when he wants a fully hydrated Aquaman is much much stronger than the thing.

Loses round 2. Thing has a higher level of strength and is a good fighter

Electro is really the only one whose a problem for Aquaman, I know people like to belittle the guy but he's at least on par with Hulk

@DawnToDarkness: But he does have his water hand in round 5 so he's allot more powerful than before. On the other hand he has gone through all of those fights with only 8 hours rest.

Gauntlet is out of order. Thing gives him a decent fight or could beat him not too sure. But he stops at Sorrow.

Thats nothing. Plenty of mid-tier characters and lower ones can do that.

In both cases Aquaman would've been killed and he had to BFR a much weaker version of Shaggy Man. Not to mention he was put in a hospital for several days. J'onn would also kill Aquaman and completely dominate him barring PIS which is the instance you refer to in the N52.

Show me that last one. As it stands that still puts Aquaman at the mid-tier range. Nothing Rulk level or even Savage Hulk level.

@seastone98: Iron Man has done it for one. "Holding your own" doesn't support anything and it gets thrown around way too much with no relative effort to how Arthur will beat them in a fight. Well maybe Wonder Woman would be a bit close but Supes and J'onn would kill him. Support what you say don't go spouting off nonsense in saying that Arthur is at a Calm Savage Hulk level or Rulk level.

@ecstaticgrace: This is ironic based on your posts I've seen on numerous threads thus far but I'll play along. Because the SM that Arthur encountered was nowhere near his Pre-Crisis level. Even Eilling in his body was able to handle the JLA much better than his N52/Rebirth encounter suggests. J'onn's physicals, intangibility, telepathy and martian vision are well outside Arthurs paygrade in Pre-Crisis, Pre-Flashpoint or Post-Flashpoint continuity unless you're seriously suggesting that Arthur could hold off J'onn in a telepathic battle or survive phasing. In which case I'll find that laughable.

@fearsinestro: i have even stated dat supes was holding back (tho not a whole lot) also wen has iron man punched some1 across an ISLAND (not calling u a liar i judt want 2 know) also rulk was getting his ass kicked by namor underwater (i know he had trouble breathing but still) & not many mid tiers can handle supes or MM even if dey r holding back something aquaman did like a champ
