@kidman560: My gut was telling me to go for Namor, but I heard Aquaman could match up against Superman underwater now. I haven't read the New 52 Aquaman series (hear its great tho) so I don't know for sure, but if it's true I figured he'd be able to beat Namor underwater. If not tho, I'm sticking wit Namor on both land and sea

Hulk hasnt been retconned but the same Hulk that, during the secret war, lifted up the trillions of tons... again if thats weaker than we really need to talk about how under-rated Hulk is on todays battle forums

Let's not pretend that squabble with Hercules was anything more than what happened with Superman and Wonder Woman.

As far as these scans, he pushes him through a few buildings, throws a bus, then gets stomped. Nothing noteworthy at all. Also, let's not forget Aquaman has a trident that can wound Darkseid.

When did I ever say Namor lost? Read my comments, specifically #5. All I did was refute points that would indicate that this fight would be easy for either party. As far as this feat you just posted:

Considering the typical cruise ship is between 45,000 and 120,000 GRT (some are bigger, some are smaller, but you asked what is typical). and the average submerged sub weighs 7800 tons...

@pperspectiveandreality: no the average US sub is 2 to 3,500 tons... the German Sub that many navies use today weighs 450 tons... thats a pretty big difference

Those three different souces disagree with you. Are you telling me that many different nations use german submarines that weigh 450 tons? It seems...fishy that America britain, etc. would use german submarines. And regardless of that, the cruise ship he casually lifted weighs at least 30,000 tons.....Idk why we're talking about lifting feats anyway as they're totally irrelevant. But the premise that Namor physically outclasses Arthur is false. Unless you have more feats to prove me wrong (I've got no problem being proved wrong either so if you can enlighten me, please do so.)

Again, Aquaman lifted a cruise ship nonchalantly. Its about 100,000 tons.

....the nautilis was launched in 1954 and decomissioned in 1980.

Modern US Attack Submarines weigh around 7000~ tons and Ballistic Submarines weight over 18,000 tons.

Moreover, the submarine Aquaman threw was confirmed to be a russian nuclear sub. The German navy also has zero nuclear submarine's in its fleet.

Russians are notorious in particular for making very LARGE submarines as well. The currently deploy the largest submarine in surface in the world - The Typhooon ballistic submarine which weights nearlys 50,000 tons submerged.

Aquaman's tossing of this Russian nuclear sub is EASILY 10,000+ ton range. Especially once you consider the fact that it was sitting on the ocean floor and he threw it to the surface. That's an enormous display of raw strength

Furthermore, Namor's minor squabble with Hercelus was no more impressive than Aquamans' brief clash with Superman and WW. Aquaman also handed DC Hercules his ass underwater and was hanging with him for a long time on land - despite the fat that he wasn't using his Trident the entire time.

And Arthur no-flinched The Dead King's continent busting attack while simultaneously healing a gut wound by his own Trident.

And yes it was a minor fight - considering it didn't end any real conclusion and was broken up. Just like Aquaman's fight with WW and Superman.

Aquaman...by a very slight margin so far...being this is new52 ...Aquaman is able to lift more by feats though...so he is stronger:-P

@czarny_samael666: Half those feats you posted are incredibly old and not even close to relevant. If you want me to post Pre-Crisis Aquaman scans of him replicating Flash's arm vortexes and mind controlling Superman I can. He even out reacted Superman at point.

Furthermore, all of them are ABC logic feats. "oh Hey, Namor beat this guy so he must beat that other guy". Those types of statements don't work. Characters routinely fight each other with no real regards to power levels at all.

Finally, considering Aquaman punched Superman off panel and we didn't see him again for 10 entire pages of story, that's basically a ko. He also defeated Dead King, a being who could smash continents, something neither Namor or any of the people you posted scans of him fighting can do. (Hulk would have to go up to higher levels of anger to do that) if we want to get into "who beat who" Aquaman still wins.

And please. The Hercules fight is not that impressive. There wasn't even a clear winner. They traded blows and nothing happened because the fight was broken. If you want a serious Hercules fight, go watch Arthur dominate Hercules in the span of 2 pages. Even if he lacks feats at the moment, they all ready confirmed he is WW's half brother and therefore a demigod and will likely be just as powerful if not moreso.

Furthermore as all ready stated by previous users. Aquaman's Trident is indestructible and one of the most powerful weapons on DC Earth. Aquaman has set off volcanoes by throwing it into the Earth's crust and it was capable of blowing a hole in Darkseid's chest. And Arthur has absolutely no qualms about killing someone who attacks him. Namor could very easily be 1 shotted by the Trident. The Trident all ready one shotted Arthur himself.

Frankly, this match is not even fair with that weapon.
