Aquaman (New 52) vs Colossus

Aquaman (new 52)

Colossus (no Juggernaut powers or Phoenix powers)

Morals on.

I dont know if this is a good fight or not, I just want to get a better sense of Aquaman's power level.

Random encounter in Manhattan, unpopulated.

Aquaman. Also how much can the New 52 version lift? Because I remember in Justice League 9# I believe he was lifting a cruise ship.

that was his best strength feat I believe.

Aquaman is good, specially in his new 52 book, but, gonna have to say Colossus.

I'm curious as to the posting of the picture above, Aquaman lifting a cruise ship, is this to show how he wins? Cause, i'm very sure that's nothing Colossus can't do, so, unless this is a weight lifting contest, all you've shown is that both can lift a cruise ship, but, does that still put Aquaman in Colossus strength range?? Is Aquaman a certified class 100? Just asking.

the cruiser kinda shows that he is probably a class 100... Pretty sure that ship is over way 100 tons.

But the new 52 has only been around for a little over a year so a lack of feats is understandable.

I'd give strength to Colossus. What's their durability compatibility?

Um, yeah, landing in sand isn't bad, but again, nothing that would even remotely scratch Colossus in the same situation, or worse terrain. I know Aquaman has also taken machine gun fire, ak-47's? Didn't do much to him, other than one graze his forehead with a bit of blood, but again, nothing that would scratch Colossus, let a lone bleed.

That isn't something that puts him on Colossus' level IMO. Aquaman was nicked by an AK-47 round IIRC. Colossus' durability has always been enough for him tank hits from Gladiator, Juggernaut, Hulk, WWH, Red Hulk and even one of the Dreaming Celestial's probes.

That isn't something that puts him on Colossus' level IMO. Aquaman was nicked by an AKA-47 round IIRC. Colossus' durability has always been enough for him tank hits from Gladiator, Juggernaut, Hulk, WWH, Red Hulk and even one of the Dreaming Celestial's probes.

Hence why I think, as strong as Aquaman has been portrayed in the new 52, I still don't see him on Colossus level of strength and durability, and Piotor's fight to lose. Aquaman is the underdog, imo. Colossus 7/10 imo.

Its crazy how even all that Batman would still beat Aquaman easily...

not sure who wins, but so far Aquaman's best feats in Nu52 are miles below his peak pre flashpoint. those strength and durability scans shown are pretty ordinary compared to what he had before reboot.

I have not been keeping up with Aquaman is he still a telepath.

Also isn't hitting water greater than hitting land? If so he hit it hard and fast from a huge drop. Also imagine the leg power for a guy who swims faster then the plane in air.

@jwalser3: hitting water from that high is like hitting concrete apparently. I mean, if you've ever done a cliff dive, you know what I mean. It's not as hard as concrete from that high, but it still stings your feet and butt when you land. Alot.

And yeah he has good leg strength, he was hopping over buildings and stuff in another scan.

to me it seemed it wasn't fully lifting though. And it was in the water, still, he's pretty strong and his leaping abilties are incredible, he can get a good fight out of this match

@Immortal777: yes, with marine life. But it also seems he still can conect to humans, due to his comment on having a link with his female teammate from THe Others

Colossus is highly resistant to magics though.

hmm ... then I guess he wins since there are not enough feats to gauge Aquamans current abilities. No point in using New 52 characters just yet anyway since barely any of them have enough feats to put them in legit battles without problems ...

Aquaman also has that big ass spear ....

Also he is stating how he doesn't want to get hit, punches are getting weaker, and stating it's not good that he caught the last hit. So I wasn't too impressed by it. But again, I do believe Colossus would win.
