@jmarshmallow: Communism will triumph! Wait, no
Aqualad vs Percy Jackson
@johnfrank120: Heil, mein Führer!
Jmarshmallow
@arcus: well wouldn't ladders water constructs that he tends to use in all his fights just heal Percy's wounds because it's still water
@alakemega123: maybe, maybe not. The water from the nymphs that attacked him and Jason and Piper didn't heal him. Also, Aqualad could channel his bioelectricity through the water and take Percy down that way
@jmarshmallow: WHHHAAAATTT, ONLY COMMUNISM REIGNS SUPREME, damn it that is why I'm not trusted with secrets.
@johnfrank120: Haha! Accept defeat at the hands of your king!
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: All are equal, AS COMMUNISM WILL CRUSH AMERICA, wait no, I'm not meant to say that yet am I?
@arcus: Percy has tanked lightning stronger than Kaldur's.
He was getting tired when he was fighting Hyperion, and he was completely exhausted when he and Jason used the storm to keep the Romans away. Just a couple examples. Water can only revive him so much
He didn't step in the water when he finished fighting Hyperion, neither when they summoned the storm. Saying that the water's healing properties has its limits in those cases isn't true.
Also, he summoned the same storm a year later when he fought the ghosts on top of the Hubbard Glacier, and he didn't show any fatigue afterward.
@johnfrank120: Maybe one day.
But for now, 'Merica can't be stopped!
Justice and Liberty for all!
Jmarshmallow
@mrunsmiley: Frank noted that Percy was getting tired and couldn't keep up the storm for long@etheral_dreams: Superboy has tanked lightning too, didn't stop Kaldur from taking him down
@arcus: Except that he was fine afterwards, when they plunged into the ocean.
@mrunsmiley: Yeah, he stopped using his powers and was able to recharge
*Sigh*, Noobs...
''Kaldur's going to beat Percy with his water based weapons''
Well troll No.51, if you read Percy Jackson, you'd know he's so good at Hydrokinesis that having those weapons is a disadvantage to Kaldur.
''Kaldur's fighting skills > Percy's''
You should know, troll No.45, that Percy is constantly going up against whole armies of trained soldiers and winning as well as being able to beat the Greek God of War, Ares.
@jmarshmallow: what?
@drfate: Percy Jackson is the bomb! Don't be a hater!
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: i'm not a hater. I just really don't like it.
@drfate: Really? How come?
Have you actually read it?
Because if you have, then I respect your opinion and all that, but most everyone who reads it agrees that it's a solid series.
If you haven't, you really should. It's great for kids and adults alike.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: first of all i saw the movies, both of them, i wish i neverl watched them. They we so bad...
Then i've read the first book, but as i didn't really like it i heaven't reda the other..four? Yeah, i guess they are five in total.
So basicly my adventure with percy Jackson ended on one book & two movies.
@drfate: The movies are pretty bad, and don't reflect AT ALL on the quality of the books, trust me.
The First book was good, but it was a little tedious. A little predictable. But trust me, by the third book, you'll be engrossed in the story, and the Greek mythology stuff really grows on you.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: nah, maybe i'll try it some day, for the moment i must read all the Dune books.
Also, i already like the Greek mythology ( although i prefer the Norse one )...
@drfate: @jmarshmallow: the movies messed up so much stuff...
Rick Riordan's coming out with a Norse series from what I've heard
@drfate: Dune books? I don't think I've ever heard of them.
And Rick Riordan, the guy who made the PJ books, is currently working on a new series focusing on Norse Mythology.
So, that's something you could always try once it comes out.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: you've never heard of "Dune" books by Frank Herbert ? Those are one of the most popular & best aclaimed science-fiction novels of the XXth century. It was all written in the 60's & 70's and then in the 80's they made a movie based on it
Thx for the recomendations.
@drfate: Never been much of a Sci-Fi guy when it came to book, one of the only exceptions being Slaughterhouse Five.
And you're welcome!
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: Your America is weak we are already pri- wait I see what you are doing.
