APOCALYPSE VS MR SINISTER
" @RiseofApocalypse said:Apocalypse doesn't have telepathy of his own. That's why he needed Cable to access the astral plane in the Onslaught saga." Apocalypse is like an amplified Sinister minus telepathy. "What do you mean by that? "
Have you read Apocalypse-Dracula? He uses his blood or something like that to take host bodies. I've never seen him use his telepathy to take a host body. One instance that comes close is the time when he took over the Inhumans, but that was actually him brainwashing and manipulating the Inhumans rather than outright mind-controlling them." @RiseofApocalypse said:
" @Edamame said:That is true, but do you remember what he did to Jean Grey and Xavier in The Twelve? He directed a psionic (I'm assuming) blast towards the both of them, and he beat them. Also, how could Apocalypse use host bodies, if he weren't a telepath? Using host bodies requires telepathy. I also remember Apocalypse communicating with Exodus via telepathy when he was training him to unlock his potential. Large stones were being thrown at him. Do you remember that scan? I think it took place in the desert somewhere. Apocalypse was telling Exodus to prove his strength or something like that. I actually think that Sinister could defeat Apocalypse on the astral plane, regardless. "" @RiseofApocalypse said:Apocalypse doesn't have telepathy of his own. He communicated with Exodus through that half-assed scarab creature he made.

Decent matter manipulation/reality warping feat for Apoc, but not telepathy.
The only possible irrefutable instance of Apoc using his telepathy was when he read Ozymandias' mind. But then again, Ozymandias is essentially his own creation, so maybe he was able to read his mind through their connection.
" @RiseofApocalypse: Well, how do you think that Apocalypse used Cyclops as a host body in The Twelve? He was about to use X-Man as a host body:1- Apocalypse was obviously using his machine. He even says "the power of the celestial circuit is beyond your ability to even comprehend."
Apocalypse also existed as pure psionic energy after Jean Grey ripped him out of Cyclops' body. That implies that Apocalypse is a telepath. Cable even had to use a Psimitar to disperse Apocalypse's psionic energy that was floating around.
@RiseofApocalypse said:" @Have you read Apocalypse-Dracula? He uses his blood or something like that to take host bodies. How exactly does that work? I'm befuddled.
@RiseofApocalypse said:He communicated with Exodus through that half-assed scarab creature he made.Hmm... I still don't get that. So the "half-assed scarab creature" that he made was talking to Exodus, instead of Apocalypse? Sorry, but could you fully explicate what was going on there? "

I don't remember that. Is that from Ages of Apocalypse (not Age of Apocalypse), the story that took place after the Twelve?
2- It wasn't Apocalypse-Dracula. Nevermind. Some other story, let me think a bit more.
3- Those are speech bubbles indicating someone off-panel is speaking aloud not telepathic communication bubbles. The Scarab Beast emerges from the ground revealing it to be the one speaking.
