@Bright_Blade: That version of Phoenix was just Jean Grey. Some time earlier she decided to put the old suit back on and began calling herself Phoenix again as a kind of symbolic rebirth. She did not actually possess the power of Classic Phoenix or Dark Phoenix. While what you said may technically be true (in that she was technically called Phoenix at the time), it is highly misleading, because that version of Phoenix was not the cosmic powerhouse most people think of when the name comes up, and could be defeated by many characters, including Despero.

Despero's stronger than Superman, fast enough to blast a blitzing Flash, and his telepathy trumps Martian Manhunter's.

2. show me a scan of apoc essentially fighting the equivalent of superman, powergirl, wonderwoman, hawkman and captain marvel alll at the same time.

he has taken on all the avengers and the x-men at the same time. both superman and manhunter are weaker than apocalypse one on one they hold back they can all move faster than light except maybe hawkman yet they choose not to if they fought apocalypse like they do despero he would beat them to.
