Apocalypse Senario Tourney (no picking yet)

So i am making this again so i can get more people and so that we can evaluate current teams to address anyones concerns about a character being too good for the rules.

The Tournament (a brief description)

You will form a team of 3 characters. These 3 characters (check character limits choose) will have been brought together by however you like (e.g. they found a radio and where told where they could meat up or they where in a group but the rest died or they just simply met up but either way they find each other) it will not change anything in the tourney.

These 3 characters will have to survive through long periods of time in the apocalypse while having to complete various tasks (e.g. find a high point where they can establish radio contact with other groups or people and try to raid and loot other teams)

What you will have to survive is Zombies/vampires!!! So these will start of as Walking Dead Zombies and every couple of days a large herd will pass through (as the tourney progresses the Zombies will evolve to I am Legand or WWZ Zombies)

In this tourney you will have CaV battles with around 2-4 people but it will mostly consist of 2 or 3 and the conditions, maps, and tasks will vary. You may be set the task of trying to survive a large herd of walkers while trying to be the first to reach a high peak where you can get radio contact or you may be trying to defend your camp (the map i will set for each battle) from one of the other viners teams attempting to either take your camp or steal your resources.

I have a lot more planned but i will provide detail on all of that in a separate thread when (if) i get the amount of people needed in the following 7 days.

Character choosing

You may choose 3 characters (not on this thread) but only 1 of them may be classed as superhuman the other 2 must be comic peak such as Shiva, Batman, and Elektra you get the idea.

So here are the limits for the 1 superhuman character

1. Speed can be no better than Black Pantha (Gorgon not allowed)
2. Strength must be somewhere in the 2-5 ton range
3. Healing Factor can be Wolverine level but bites from Zombies/Vampires can't be healed and once bite your character turns
4. Durability has to be low enough to be pierced by bullets and knives etc (can be enough to continue when a standard human could not)
5. Other powers can not exceed anything above grenade power e.g. energy blasts are not allowed to be above grenade power output levels
6. All Standard gear is allowed as long as it does not exceed any of the limits that are included in the tech limitations section

Now here are the limits for non superhuman characters

1. Speed must be comic peak levels e.g. Batman and Nightwing people on there level
2. Strength must be in the 1-2 ton range
3. No Healing Factors allowed
4. Durability nothing above comic peak human durability for example comic peak humans can sustain big amounts of damage normal humans couldn't but are not actually superhuman
5. Other powers such as energy projection have to be bullet level power
6. All standard gear as long as it does not exceed the tech limitations

obviously the maps will not include mongooses but they may include vehicles and weapon stashes. Some of the maps will be very large and amy take up to 3-4 days to cross and even longer to try and survive and hunt down the other teams

TECH LIMITATIONS

Tech is allowed as long as it is standard gear and does not exceed the limits below

Tech limitations for superhuman character

1. At most armour can only protect from multiple gun shots but it must have open areas and can not cover entire body
2. Any tech provided in the map can be used regardless if it surpasses the limitations placed on characters
3. Nothing can have more destructive capability than a RPG blast and anything on this level must take at least 5 mins before it can fire again
4. There can be no tech amping speed beyond that of 30 mph for more than 10 seconds but any short burst tech that can reach these speeds can be used for a quick getaway
5. Any other protection tech such as force fields can be fully durable with no limitations but must only be active for 1 minute before needing a 10 min recharge
6. Any special sight tech such as infrared or x-ray is allowed
7. Tech is not allowed to allow flight for any longer than 10 seconds such as a Halo jetpack and at best can reach 10m hight at at most 20 mph before having to wait 5 mins to reuse
8. Any other questions about tech will be clarified in a PM

Non super humans are restricted to grenade power output and 1-3 shot resistant before there armour is damaged and can't have any other specialised tech except stuff like Bats grapple you get the point.

So i am going to need all you guys to post your teams here so everyone knows who is taken. Anyone who has any concerns about characters please mention it on this thread.

@darkseid1006: Actually, I don't know if I'll be able to do this with Maul, and his survivalist-type feats are the reason I wanted to enter in the first place. He doesn't have loads of speed feats without force speed so.. yeah I'm gonna permanently drop out of this one.

@darkraiden: beware i think some people have a problem with Blades speed so if anyone raises it as a concern it may be put to a vote so just make sure to have a backup as I feel it will happen te same as it happened with Gorgon

@darkseid1006: As long as he has to stay with the team, Falcon is good. As in he can't fly ahead and if he's the last person alive he has to land

@jacthripper: yeah I was thinking more a 2-5 min air time before they have 5 mins to cool down

@stealth_warrior: yup but with some limitations that you will have to stick to.

1. You are not allowed to stray from the group as any race to the vantage points as missions would be unfair (in other battles like fight to the death you will be able to leave the group but only if I say you are allowed in the rules)

2. Flight will only be in use for 5 mins before it takes another 5 mins to cool down

3. You are still restricted to 50 mph tops

@stealth_warrior: I really don't think that is there standard equipment iv watched both Cap America films and he did not use a gun and defiantly didn't carry 2 suits around with him.

Falcon yeah I think he did have that sort of stuff

But hawk didn't use a gun either and there are a couple arrows that he used that Wouk count as specialised

Just beware if you pick and someone already has that character they will get it as they where in first

no it kind of died. I planned to try and restart the entire tourney but I never actually got around to it. I may actually re-create it some time this week and if I do i'll tag you in it.
